I'm a detailer but I've actually never polished exterior of a boat, though I was hired to polish all the chrome and metals throughout the whole interior of a yacht. it took two 8 hr shifts

Ecolab has a good stainless steel polisher that you just have to spread with a rag and buff it out with another dry rag...

My first boat was ok it was old the paint was ok the interior was ok just the carpets and seats was bad but the second boat was way better only thing about detailing boats is making sure using the right products

I've never ceramic coated a boat but did you want to use a one step with carnauba wax before the coating? When we coat a car, we want clean paint. Is there a difference?

I was thinking the same thing, but I assume if you iso wipe prior to coating you will be fine? Lol typing this, as I am about to strip wash for a ceramic coating

Great question for most. But It was a little over whelming for me on my own, was the first time..That was not when there was the better products today is the advantages. Done faster and super quality. It took me 6 hours ours Navy Blue Enterior ,Pearl White with a Navy and Baby blue strip taping. Back 06 was able to punch it in for 450.oo No. Seramic. But was a 3rd step Polishing. Next ones Faster and less time on the job. Ti me it's about same. Have done Marine Work of the Coastal regions. Was greatful and still blessed to say we have done Jets Skee s , Boats an Couple Donzi, as well as Yachts in my Career.

I’ve tried cutting and polishing an RV with a DA, will never make that mistake again. Will always use the rotary for gelcoat

Dam, not good tools for polishing chromes bro…….. Zephyr Pro40 with their white padding and bar, finishing it with their pro40 polishing liquid. Use the padding on a rotary polisher and tape off any painted surfaces
