As a professional detailer, I will never give my customers a wet interior. I always make sure to account for drying time. In the winter, I let the car run a bit with heat on blast. In the summer, I use fans.

As a long time pro detailer , a few things i noticed. For a bad stain such as coffee- if you soak the seat too much , the cleaner will sink below the top layer of fabric & into the foam cushion. When this happens , you can be fighting a losing battle bcuz the stain will re appear over n over again. Also use caution when putting the stain hunter on top of degreaser. Some chemicals do NOT play well together, sometimes resulting in ugly looking chemical reactions from mixing . I always use my fan & run the vehicles with heat on to dry the interior while i do the exterior. Doing this will allow you to see if the stain re appears again after the material has had time to dry. This can happen often with stains. You both are doing a great job . Keep going & make your customers happy.

Definitely agree with you about older car's fabric being easier to work on. Car companies are definitely cutting costs with cheaper carpet and upholstery these days.

To dry interior you should make sure the A/C is on, temp is high heat, and recirculate the interior air with the doors closed and windows up. The A/C will remove moisture from the air and dry the interior out. Might take a little while but better than a funky smelling car.

Use carpet bomber as your base cleaner and terminator as your spot & heavy grime remover your gonna get better results and finish off with finisher!! Don't need much! If you don't do that, the carpet bomber stays in the carpet and dries, and when you spill something it reactivates the enzymes and stains the carpet even more. There's three step process is very important to follow and Make sure you wipe down with a clean microfiber after cleaning the seats when vacuuming you're just foaming it up in the carpet and making it appear clean then when dries it comes back you need to transfer over the dirt to something, it doesn't just disappear. Not hating just coming from experience

I been detailing for 12 years and doing makeready for dealerships. So ive done thousands of cars and im telling you dont ever wanna soak the seats like that cause the stain is gonna keep coming back up and gonna take for ever to dry. If it dont dry good it will make the car stink like dirty water and mildew. You can get the same result from misting it evenly,let it set,hit with brush then wipe with rag.
@HuntersMobileDetailing8 ай бұрын
Thanks, I've detailed thousands of cars without any issues. Through my experience, I've developed a method that is tailored to how I detail. I use fans to dry the vehicle, and an extractor works much better than a towel and brush for cleaning. Using a towel or rag only cleans the top layer, but I need to get deep within to effectively remove any spills.

Just hear me out. Detailer of Knoxville, TN with 2 & 1/2 years of experience. Not bashing anyone here, but scientifically speaking, you can’t leave cleaning chemicals in fabric without extracting them in some fashion. The same company that created carpet bomber makes an acid rinse for this reason specifically. Cleaning chemicals are normally very alkaline. If you leave the PH of the fabric high, because it’s full of chemical that haven’t been removed, it will re-soil immediately. The acid rinse brings the ph of the fabric back to a median ph, such as 7. That way, the seat won’t immediately soak up dirt and grime like a white terry cloth in a mud puddle. Go talk to a carpet cleaning company. They do this a much LARGER scale.
@HuntersMobileDetailing6 ай бұрын
Thanks for your message but I don’t leave until seats are dry. And also I don’t have a problem with Re soil but I will def take the advice of getting up all chemicals and look into that products thanks 🙏🏾

@@HuntersMobileDetailing Hey thanks for the reply man. I just wanted to make sure the info was out there. Also, Fr call a local carpet company and ask them about resoiling. Most customers don’t know what it is until they have a ton of random stains in a short period from the date they had their carpets shampoo’d. No hate here! Just trying to spread the knowledge. I hope I wasn’t stepping on toes! Stay blessed brother.

Hey bro hope you’re not using your vacumaid to extract the water for the sake of this video. It’s very fragile and not meant to be used for water without the wet vac attachment. If you did use water use your air compressor and and blow out the water under the vacuum bag there’s a vent. This method is good with any shop vac that’s a wet/dry vac.
