Yeah Angelina plays with rhythm, tempo and pauses all the times dancing around the regular music. It is clearly different and at the same time still recognizable :-) She carefully choses which vowels she sings to make a sound better. This is not because of her coming from Norway but because she wants to sound it in a specific way. In interviews her English is nigh on flawless and with a good dose of American English added to the mix over the past years with some some ya’alls thrown in during her concerts :-) Thanks!

Most people focus on her voice, that can be used in so many different ways by her, but her understanding of rhythm (timing, phrasing) is extremely well developed. Be it slow, be it swing, be it disco, she can do it! Always could. Love this talent!

The big difference between this and the original Frankie Valli version is the production. Angelina’s stripped down, unplugged acoustic version is in sharp contrast to Frankie’s big show, big sound rendition with full electric, driving drumbeat and blaring brass, along with Frankie’s soaring voice. Both are great, and depending upon my mood I could easily prefer each of them at different times.

Fun fact for you,, the painting behind AJ is one of her grandma's originals,, if there is a painting behind AJ In house or even on stage is most likely grandma merys,, also the outfit AJ wore on AGT Bohemian Raposidy was actually hear grandma's painting that was printed onto material and then grandma and AJ sewed it into what you saw. She has Many others they have sewn also,, including Yellow Brick Road ,, she also sells shirts pants and other stuff on her web site

You should really check out Haley Reinhart with post modern jukebox. Doing the cover of " Creep" I'm sure you would be blown away. Really any of her songs are amazing.
