I’m from Australia and got to see Cody at a music festival in Kansas back in 2018. It was late at night, like 1 am and I was right on the side of the stage for the whole performance. I was gifted all kinds of stuff by his stage crew !! Good times !!!

Britt you are very right about the south having it’s dark side But there are a lot of good people from the south I don’t care where you go The people from the south that are Christian are some of the best people anywhere in the world They don’t call it southern hospitality for nothing When slavery was abolished There was a lot of people from the black community that didn’t want to leave Number One because it was their home and There was a bunch of good white peoples that didn’t agree with slavery and they never talk about these people in the south All I know is we are all God’s children and in his eyes we are all brothers and sisters It’s time for this country to come together as one and quit fighting against each other Does anyone remember the saying that President Lincoln said TOGETHER WE STAND AN DIVIDED WE FALL Well those great words are just as true today in 2024 as they were in 1864 It’s time for everyone to come together as one and make this country strong again We let the government take Christ out of our lives First they took him out of our schools and then our homes and Tv We have abandoned Christ and He still loves us all He gave his life for our sins and I think we should show him some appreciation for his grace and mercy Thank you Jesus Christ for everything you do for our country and the world This country was built on the Christian religion and now they want to throw God away Well they can take out of school and off tv and everywhere else But they can’t take Christ from your soul Because he is the way and the light an We better get back to giving him the Praise that he deserves from all of us

Now that's a love song! Reminds me of Randy Travis "Deeper Than the Holler" - where Randy comes right out and says there's a million love songs and million singers, but he still had to add one to the list. If you want to get a little more into the bedroom side of country, some of Conway Twitty's stuff is legit, and Sam Hunt is patiently waiting for his audition for the PDC. "Body Like a Back Road" made him a lot of money, and probably made couples a lot of babies. 🤣
