I don't know if you know this, but he was Luke Bryan's roadie before he started his singing career. They both attended Georgia Southern at the same time. Can you imagine them singing at the honky tonks and bars around South Georgia or at campus parties.

Cole is a good ole Georgia boy! We did a meet and greet with him at a new years show in Gwinnett 9 years ago and got a picture with him. Great time! I believe in the music video he honors his military buddy during that part of the song.
