Для меня лично это самое лучшее кавер исполнение этой великой композиции. ДИМАШ поет не только голосом, но и телом, жестами и душой. Браво, браво, браво ДИМАШ. Привет из КАЗАХСТАНА 👋👍👍👍🙌🙌🙌For me personally, this is the best cover of this great composition. Dimash sings not only with his voice, but also with his body, gestures and soul. Bravo, bravo, bravo DIMASH. Hello from Kazakhstan👋👍👍👍🙌🙌🙌🤲🤲🤲🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿.

... you wonder how much he likes to practice singing, he practically never stops during the day. If you like, I'll tell you an anecdote about our beloved Kazakh prince..! In one of his rare interviews a few years ago (Rare not because he doesn't want to give any, but because basically he is a very shy and very reserved person) the interviewer asked him: "Dimash it is known that you have a great voice, but how much time do you dedicate to study and for how many years? and Dimash replies: "I sing at least 7 hours a day when I have no other commitments otherwise 3 hours for sure and this since I was 5" and the interviewer: "It's a very long time considering that you are 27, so at 5 years you already wanted to be a singer, do you remember when you decided you wanted to be a singer?" and Dimash thinks about it for a few seconds then replies: "I don't know at what age a child begins to have consciousness?".... You wonder when he likes to practice singing ... in my opinion he was born singing instead of crying ....🤣🤣🤣

Thank you for this Dimash reaction, Britt. Having seen a few of your reactions already, I find that I enjoy your commentary quite a lot. In this one in particular, I notice that you commented on enjoying Dimash's accent -- essentially, his imperfect English -- and I'd like to thank you for that wonderful open-mindedness. I'm a native speaker of American English, an English professor, and an applied linguist with a TESOL certification, i.e. a Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages. In the several years I've been listening to a LOT of Dimash reactions and performances, I've heard countless people criticize his English, and while I'll be the first to admit that he needs further English training, I can also attest to the fact that he's been getting it, as his English has steadily improved. As a modest reader and speaker of French, I can attest to the very same regarding that language. I have to imagine he's slowly improving in the full dozen or more languages he sings in. I can understand the professional attitude (especially from operatic singers, for obvious reasons) that looks a bit down on Dimash's flawed enunciation in this language or that, but frankly, having scientifically studied bit and pieces of 30 or 40 languages in my academic years, I'm simply in awe of the fact that he has jumped headfirst into SO MANY different linguistic oceans and is swimming both mightily and fairly intelligibly in them all. Perfect? Hell, no! Courageous beyond comparison? Oh my God, yes! I say give me more of this kind of stunning virtuosity. Please, more. More. More. Another thing about this song in particular -- "Adagio" -- is that he sings it as a woman, not as a man. It's a Lara Fabian song, and if you listen carefully to several versions of her singing it and him singing it, you can trace some of his English production issues to her enunciation. No, I'm not faulting Lara Fabian's English, as it is essentially perfect, to my ear at least. However, one of the difficulties in acquiring ANY new language (L2) is in knowing where to separate words -- because natural rapid speech jams sounds and hence words together -- and that phenomenon approaches its most prominent state in the regard of articles and prepositions, which can be the very devil in the acquisition of ANY L2. This is most evident when Dimash sings "before I run out to faith", which in Lara's production is actually "before I run out of faith", but the non-nativeness of Dimash's ear misinterprets both the t and double-f present in "out of faith", warping it into "out to faith" instead, with the prepositional error being completely inaudible to Dimash's level of English production at that time. Still, though, he mimics her faithfully, singing "the only man" as she sang it rather than converting it to "the only woman" as I've seen other male singers do. If you wonder why quinzillions of women all over the world (not to mention a goodly number of men, as well) cry just from hearing him sing, wonder no more, for Dimash emotes vocally quite as well as a woman as he does as a man, and your comment about his work being powerful on a spiritual level -- that is, neither male nor female, but rather both -- is directly on point, indeed. With all that said, thanks again for your reaction here, and thanks especially for your linguistic open-mindedness. Cheers.

The woman you mentioned won this competition. And another competitor said it's always so stressful to perform after him🤣. Maybe you want to react to some emotional story from this competition. Then I suggest Daybreak. I highly recommend you to watch the version with the story behind on the Gloria Wu channel or Dimash Fanclub Deutschland. Both are with subtitles. And normally there are no ccpyright issues. In the Singer version he was so sick and had a severe sore throat and fever. He lost his voice the night before his performance of Daybreak. I heard him say in an interview that it was very painful throughout the song, that his throat feels like shredded glass but he didn’t want to disappoint the people who stand behind him and so he pulled himself together and went on stage. He got 5 injections from this doctor in the hospital. And the doctor told him not to sing high notes. You can see how concerned the other competitors were and they suffered with him. They knew he was not doing well and one of them even gave him a very expensive Chinese medicine from his own inventory. The problem was his busy schedule between the performances and he didn’t have enough time to recover. He made very good friends there and many friendships still exist today. After the performance he lost his voice again. It’s unbelievable how he always manages to convey emotions to such a degree. Though I think in this one particular version the emotions he shows are mostly concern about his voice keeping up with the song and the pain he must have been in doing it. This performance got me every single time. Gloria Wu: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4mqd2qsnKqMgc0 Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

Everyone else in the competition was already famous professional singers in China. Dimash was invited as a wildcard, he was the youngest person to ever compete in this competition and, unfortunately through this year, only someone from China could win, that rule was changed after this. Dimash took second place, however , while Dimash was well known in Russia and Kazakhstan, up until this competition he was not known in China, I believe that I read 600 million people saw his performance of SOS, from the first episode, needless to say the next morning, much to Dimash’s surprise, he had bodyguards. Instant overnight star in China and thank goodness for KZbin because now many of us know who he is❤

I am a new Dimash “Dear” but I have learned a few things from watching him and from the seasoned Dears…if he pulls one of his earphones out he is going to the stratosphere. If he hits his knees he’s going to the stratosphere. If he shakes his hand while singing, that is to prove to the non devotees that Yes, HE is really singing THAT and then he goes to the stratosphere. If you do a deep dive about him you will be amazed at all the wonderful things he is regarding his family, his country and his art. Keep those awesome reacts coming😃👍👏👏👏

Dimash works his voice at least 3 hours a day and when he has to do a concert, it's a lot more. He's had this routine since he was young. He is very disciplined, swims regularly to maintain his respiratory capacity and he pays attention to his diet. He does not consume anything that could affect his vocal cords. As for his knees, at the beginning, he often hurt himself by throwing himself on the ground, one of the competitors even gave him knee pads (joke between them). Over time, he learned to fall to the ground on his knees without hurting himself. I would love it if you react to Screaming from his Digital show 2021. Thank you for continuing to make this artist known through your reactions. Big hug from Canada.🥰❤

Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonate, concerto or symphony that is using that specific pace. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and give his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music composition and different lyrics (Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in english and italian for it and is the original performer of this new version. She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration. This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, … They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKLShGCBhLGJlZY Her italian version is also amazing. You can check her recent rendition in Paris early october 2022 kzbin.info/www/bejne/eKbPmKt_Yp2toJY

Another superb Dimash performance. No one can sing anything like Dimash sings it. His vocal range and dexterity is astounding. This song was co-written by Dimash's idol, Lara Fabian. Lara's version is also incredible, and in my opinion (sorry Dears) it is more heartfelt than Dimash's. Obviously she doesn't have the vocal gymnastics that Dimash has (no-one has), and I am not putting down Dimash's version, how could I? However for me she 'feels' this song better. There again, I don't think I've ever seen a singer, male or female, who sells a song better than Lara Fabian. :)

At “The Singer” |(China - 2017), he presented a composition by Bruno Mars, but the result was not good and he lost significant points! The following week he gave himself body, soul and knee (in addition to wearing a suit with blue, which is the color of the Kazakhstan flag) and presented, playing piano, the music written for Lara Fabian (with a melody of the music of the classical composer , Tomaso Albinone), “ADAGIO”: This performance is considered a masterpiece by Dimash!
@bejewel4669 Жыл бұрын
Actually Dimash did a very good job of performing the Bruno Mars song BUT the song itself did not showcase his voice nor give him any room to flex his vocals. This was a vocal competition and he was told at the start of the show that he had to wow the 500 member audience of music professionals. This particular song was fun but not exceptional for vocal prowess. He didn't make that mistake again.

Told you that suit was 🔥 lol. Dimash, to this day, practices singing at least 3 hours a day! He also swims, which helps with lung capacity (as if he needs more).

I think in a new release of Websters encyclopedia/dictionary they should write as an explanation for "passion" simply "Dimash" 😉

This is a Chinese show that is filled with all Chinese professional singers. Someone couldn’t make it so they asked Dimash, he was the youngest ever on the show. He did not win came in second only because the rules were that only Chinese singers could win. Which he actually did. They have since changed the rules and apologized to Dimash. Dimash needed to go on these shows so that people could get to know him which after this, wow did he
