@@azidal3755 Rechecked the first episode here, and no... he died in the first minutes of the episode, and retells on how this happened, you can count him as dying in the prologue too... but I know one character who really died before the show even started, Sakai Yuuji from Shakugan no Shana, when Shana first encounters him, he is already dead and is a torch, even if he is not aware of this.

Yup, it´s the prologue of the story. The point where the story splits into 2 (later 3) routes is at the end of the episode, and it depends on whether Shirou stops (or doesn´t stop) Saber from attacking Archer. The story then takes some interesting turns. Well, at least in the game. The issue a lot of people have with the Dean Fate/stay night anime is that it sort of tried to mash all 3 routes into 1. Yes, it mainly sticks to the first (Fate) route, but takes some plot-points from the other 2.

Her Mana is at it's peak at 2AM not for any special reason, but just because of her biological clock. If it means anything, it's that she's a nightowl, or that she works best right before she starts getting tired or whatever. She's min/maxing her mental and physical condition to get the best Servant she can. And summons an actual 4* Servant, yes. Not that it means anything outside of the game.
