Yep, my give a damn’s busted, Silver Thunderbird, Lesson in Leaving, Bring on the Rainand and Bye Bye are some of her songs. So many more to choose from. Above are three uptempo songs two ballads. Silver Thunderbird I don’t think was one of her more popular songs on the charts but I really love that song. It’s really cool.

Britt, I worked at a large plaintiffs law firm in Charleston South Carolina years ago. While I was there, one of our attorneys was celebrating his 20th year with the firm and he was having a private party out at dunes West. Jody Messina just come out and hire Jo Dee Messina and we had a private party with her. She touched my husband’s back and sign the T-shirt and stood right in front of us and it was awesome. She works out and is very buff. Her biceps are good! She has a song that Tim McGraw Harmonizing backs her up. It’s absolutely beautiful! She’s a fun loving lady. I feel blessed to have been able to meet her. All of her music is great! Enjoy!

Ms. Messina grew up in a small old town in Massachusetts called Holliston, my mother was very good friends with her older sister and told me the first time she heard this song and who it was by that she remembers Jo Dee annoying my mom and her sister all the time. Pretty amazing that someone from that town has made it this big.

I had the joy of working with Jo Dee on this record (reached #2 in '96) at the start of her career up until 2007 when we were both a Curb Records. She was and still is a phenomenal talent and her voice is just as strong and vibrant today as it was at the start! Glad you enjoyed this one.

Check out other good songs of hers called "MY GIVE A DAMN'S BUSTED", it has a great video AND "I'm all right." She was popular in the late 1990s-2000s and had 6 number-one singles on the Billboard country music charts. She battled cancer in 2017 but is doing great now and still touring. She also was nominated for 2 Grammy awards.

The harmony dude is also the guy who sang with Tim Foust and Austin Brown (Home Free) on "My Maria" (remake for Brooks and Dunn). That really showcases this guys high tenor voice. He is very very talented and though I'd never heard of him apparently he is very popular and well known in the music biz. Great reaction as usual.

My boyfriend, later husband, and I went from Norfolk VA to Sacramento CA and back in 1979. Never got on an interstate highway ! Of course times have changed and I think you have to be much more cautious than we were. Taking side roads, getting lost in forests, sleeping in cemetaries.....shame, would love to have this same experience with my grandchildren. If you ever have an opportunity to take that trip....GO !

Ditto the stay away from California as it currently is, Housing prices and rampant crime are out of control to where people are just leaving their windows rolled down so that they don't have to replace them when their car is broken into.... Notice I said when and not if... And those poor business owners out there having to put up with shoplifting since CA passed that law decriminalizing stealing anything less than $950, there is a store there called Gump's who have had a store there for 165 years that is ready to close down and move out thanks to the insanity going on with shoplifting where they bring in calculators and "shop" for their size.
