Check out the song “How could you leave us?” That song is about his mom, and NF trying to cope from her death from a drug overdose. Follow up that song with “Mama” from his latest Album. His evolution of his mental state about his mom is hard to listen to but beautiful to see his growth as a person!

Good catch on the I lie to myself and say I do the best that I can....And then I get ticked off when I see it affecting my plans. A lot of reactors miss the significance of this statement. Just go to NF official website and do the official videos. As is the case with Mansion, some of NF's best music doesn't have a video because the picture he paints is better than any video.
