In blackjack, you get dealt cards and can't go over 21 or else you lose, but you want to get as close to 21 as possible. 10, jack, queen and king are all worth 10, and ace is worth either 1 or 11 , your choice. So the expert got exactly 21 in his tattoo, and won. Mitch got a 10 and a 2, or a 12 total, which is as far from 21 as you can get and still run the risk of drawing one more card, getting a card worth 10 points (which theres a bunch of), and going over 21, and therefore losing. It's about the worst thing you can draw. When he says he later adds a king, its to simulate him having a 12, then deciding to draw another card and getting a king, which puts him at 22 and automatically losing.

If you are looking for more one liner comedians, two come to mind. Steven Wright is a lot like Mitch in that he does quirky, off the wall random stuff. He's hilarious. The other is the king of one liners. Rodney Dangerfield is a must watch for comedy reactors. His tag line is "I don't get no respect. No respect from anyone". He does a self depreciating routine that is incredible. May I suggest "Rodney Dangerfield's 100 Greatest Jokes" or anything of Rodney on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. You will love all of it.

"Every picture of you is a picture of you when you were younger" is such a simple truth that you never really think about it. I had the similar revelation like a year ago. No matter how many miles youve driven your car, the keys have ALWAYS, without exception, traveled further. There is also a song Called "Popular Monster" by a band called Falling in Reverse, maybe youve heard of them? I would be surprised if they were your style but theyre also fakking huge right now so :P Anyway, one line in the lyrics goes "Ever single fakking day I get closer to the grave" and my immediate thought the first time I hear the song was "As opposed to what, exactly?". I even said it out loud and my co-workers looked at me as if I was the stupid one. I mean, I understand the point he is trying to make... but its still such a stupid framing, I generally like the song but just that one line makes me laugh every tíme. Another silly lyric is in the classic rock ballad "Africa" by Toto. The bigges mountain in Aftica is Kilimanjaro and the lyric goes "Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti" They probably MEANT "Rises like *Olympia* above the Serengeti", Olympia being the divine temple where the Greek Gods lived. Makes alot of sense poetically as well, its basically saying that the mountain rising in a "Like a temple, in regal and majestic manner" Here is the problem tho, "Olympus" is the mountain Olympia is said to be located upon. Olympus is just a mountain in Greece. So the lyric literally becomes "The particular mountain, rises like completely different mountain over the Serengeti" which is just redundant and stupid xD

In blackjack the goal is to get as close to a sum of 21 without going over. The person at the table with 21 or the closest to it wins. Number cards are worth face value, face cards are worth 10 and aces are worth 11 or 1. An ace and a 10 or face card is referred to as a blackjack and is an instant win. The game starts with everyone being dealt 2 cards, one face up and one face down and then players take turns making bets and taking more cards if they want. The joke here is the house always wins and the players tend to go bust a lot (going bust is what they call it when you go over 21), hence the dealer friend having a jack and ace tattoo and him getting a 10 and 2 and then later a king.
