This is why in the song Hope... He talks about holding his baby and knowing that his son will never have to look out the window wondering if Dad's coming around.

Don’t be sorry for stopping and reacting the way you did. It’s a natural reaction to this song. If you didn’t we would have questioned your humanity.

Yes, I don’t get why everyone always apologizes for perfectly human emotions, it actually makes me relieved when I see it. Because I know that person has heart.

This is full transparency coming from an ARTIST that to me has an INCREDIBLE TESTIMONY that preaches to the masses. I absolutely appreciate your analysis, honesty and appreciation of NF’s REAL MUSIC. 🙇🏻‍♀️🥰🕯🕊 Please continue the musical 🎶 journey..”outcast”, “remember this” and Nate”.

This song is heavy. I lost my mom very similarly and she was very addicted to pills. She was on probation for a while because she would call in her own prescriptions to the pharmacy (she knew enough of the doctors information to do that I guess)

Facts when you said you need your parents I felt that. Lost both mine to cancer by time I was 29. Still to this day hurts like it was yesterday. Still miss them crying at the cemetery on Christmas.

NF and I had very similar lives. I lost my mom to mental illness. I grew up in foster care & aged out at 18. I had a tough life because of choices my mom made, but she's gone now. I forgave her, but the trauma is still here. I made sure not to pass that trauma on to my daughter.

His mom did not die of an overdose when he was young she chose pills over him and was not in his life like she should have been she did overdose when he was an older ... When he says Those pills took you once and they came back to finish the job ... It's because the pills took her away physically because she was living that life they came back to finish her when she overdosed
