It's so interesting: David Gilmour does not try to impress you with lots of fast playing. Compared to other great guitarists, he plays very few notes. But each one of them has so much meaning. It's very thoughtful playing. He can express so many emotions in just one note.

You said it...David Gilmore plays his guitar like someone singing. Some parts of the solos reminded me of classical music, like Mozart or maybe Beethoven??? "Fusion Rock" or "Fusion Music" is some of my favorite type of music.

Seeing Pink Floyd Live was the Best Experience of my life. And yeah that's the Best Light Show Ever Watched it costs around 1 Million Dollars of Light Equipment. Truly a Wonderful Place And Time to never be forgotten. David Gilmore is Amazing on the Guitar and makes it Sing in every song.

When you get THAT kind of emotional reaction from watching the band on a small screen and through headphones, IMAGINE what it was like to be THERE that night!! Surrounded by the amazing clarity of the sound. . . Sound that can punch you in the chest and make your bones vibrate. . Along with thousands and thousands of people around you, and they are all TRANSPORTED by the music, the same as you are. . . The lights. . the movement. . . Overloading all your senses. . . GLORIOUS! It would have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience that would have been amazing. . Some guitarists can play a milion notes a minute and are fantastic. . David Gilmour can play ONE note and creep into your soul with it. . .

I'm an old man. I grew up in Chicago. I've heard the blues played by everyone from Buddy Guy to Taj Mahal. The best on Earth. But no one plays the blues like David Gilmour. This is rock gospel. This song is fucking sick.

Hi there Black Adarr. Welcome to Pink Floyd and Yes, their Music aims for your soul and is emotional for everyone. This is what Bands, Music and Concerts used to be like. When the musicians could play an instrument and sing at the same time... No "Auto Tune," nothing but pure talent. Keep in mind that the reason that the guys look old here, in 1994 is because they all started "Pink Floyd" 30 years before this concert was recorded. I think that you should do yourself a favor tonight. Find some place where you won't be disturbed, get comfortable, turn out the lights and experience this again, by yourself and where you don't need to keep your emotions in check, for the Camera. Because when you try to control your emotions, you're basically having to close the door to your Heart & Soul, so you don't cry in front of us all. Pink Floyd is an emotional experience for everyone. Relax & enjoy it to the fullest. Keep Smiling... Cheers...

There was never a group or songs or music quite like Pink Floyd. They are the GOLD STANDARD by which all other groups are measured. LEGENDS going back over 50 years. Their album DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, for example, stayed at the #1spot for 400 and some weeks, just over the 4 year mark. INCREDIBLE ! David Gilmour is the whole reason I play electric guitar and a Fender Stratocaster in particular. It's my favorite possession/obsession. Enjoy the trip.

Greatest guitar solo of all time in my opinion. Truly epic. And the irony of it is, the skills necessary to play like that are reasonably achievable. Two years of dedicated practice? It's all in the heart, soul, and a willingness to express yourself through a musical instrument. The guitar is, in my opinion, one of the greatest instruments to express what you cannot find words for. Finally, I'd suggest you react to Stevie Ray Vaughn's rendition of Little Wing (studio version please). Another epic masterpiece of musical expression on the level of Comfortably Numb.

Pick any song from the Pulse tour and, for me, it is a treat for the soul. After the late 60s I had some hard doors guarding my soul and Pink Floyd and in particular David Gilmour is about the only thing that can crack them open. It is a hard watch for me but Wish You Were Here is a good one for me. I loved watching you lose yourself in the music. Thank you!
