My suggestion is that you read up a bit of backstory on Ren and his life. Then check out the backstory on the Kujo affair. React to 'Hi Ren' next. Original 'Sick Boi' was taken down on KZbin and other platforms but is put up on protest videos ocassionally. If you find it then just watch it. 'Money Game 1, 2 and 3' are genius, a screed about greed. 'Tale of Jenny and Screech (Full)' is a 3 part tale of generational violence and the ending will blow your mind. Ren is primarily a rapper but is so well rounded in talent that he can do anything. Check out 'Seven Sins'; it is an expose on his pain through illness and psychosis (from Lyme Disease). It is a beautiful video and hard core rap. I suggest you look up the lyrics and have them on a separate screen so you can understand the genius. Ask us to explain anything you don't understand.

You should check Rens channel ... He has 8 chapter where he explains his life and his recent success. He talks about his chronic illness and loss of people he loves. Knowing this story ... you will never look at Ren's art the same. So many of his songs are based on his life ... like this beat down.

Dude, welcome to the world of Ren, probably not the first video you should have reacted to from Ren but your on the Ren Rabbit hole, I guess Renegades have posted what you should start with but Hi Ren is the start and it's a follow on at the start of this video. Also Ren does a lot of his Video's in One Take. As you may have noticed by now Ren fans are Renegades and we love new reaction videos, and obviously Ren, what Genre is Ren, well it's Ren. I loved this reaction because you had NO information on the backstory. In short, Ren bought a track from Kujo with an unlimited license to use. Kujo stole that track from the original creators (Bulgarian choir). Kujo then files a copywrite notice against 'Sick Boi' (Ren's genius video) which was subsequently taken off KZbin. Ren ultimately tried to reach out and offer up help to Kujo in the form of reimbursement; declined by Kujo. Ren then offered a collaboration with Kujo and a 50/50 split on top line revenue; declined by Kujo. Then his f*cking girlfriend threatened Ren with bodily harm online. It spiraled since then. I hope I got that all right; Renegades will correct me.

This is a weird place to find him. But long story short Ren doesn't like greed. Most of his other music is less violent.

People really should educate themselves on context before reacting to Diss tracks. That said once you watch Ren's in-depth explanation of the "Sic Boi" issue, you'll understand Ren's anger and cutting lyrics. This is very much deserved and trust me, Ren could have gone much harder legally, this was a slap on the wrist.

Kujo sold a beat to Ren that contained a sample that wasn't cleared. When the owner came after payment, Kyjo put a copyright claim on Rens song and pulled it down. Then he and his girlfruend tried to extort more money out of Ren even afyer Ren had purchased an unlimited license foe the song.
