Riding on the country crossover wave of the late 70s and early 80s, the production, the styling, her sass and her voice made this and other tracks like "Man! Eilleen Regina "Shania" Twain is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actress. She has sold over 100 million records, making her the best-selling female artist in country music history and one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Her success garnered her several titles including the "Queen of Country Pop". Billboard named her as the leader of the '90s country-pop crossover stars. Raised in Timmins, Ontario, Twain pursued singing and songwriting from a young age before signing with Mercury Nashville Records in the early 1990s. Her self-titled debut studio album was a commercial failure upon release in 1993. After collaborating with producer and later husband Robert John "Mutt" Lange, Twain rose to fame with her second studio album, The Woman in Me, which brought her widespread success. It sold over 20 million copies worldwide, spawned eight singles, including "Any Man of Mine" and earned her a Grammy Award.Wikipedia The one thing the Wikipedia doesn’t mention in this part of her bio., is her tumultuous up bringing. She had to raise her siblings ( and she herself was young ). If I remember correctly, her parents died in an accident. She was already playing guitar and singing but now she had to earn a living at it. She most definitely has! ❤

I had such a celeb crush on Shania as a youngster, and i did think she had the best styles. Thinking about her rough upbringing,it was so wonderful to see her make it and look soo happy and confident. I got even weaker when i learned to know that she actually has Indian in her (not India the country, but Native Indians) I always thought "that makes sence why shes sooooo friggin gorgeous!". You should see some of her earlier live shows, her live band just has to be experienced. She used to have this as her show closer: "Shania Twain - LIVE DVD - (If You're Not In It For Love) I'm Outta Here! [AI 4K UPSCALED 60 FPS]" I have that entire concert on DVD & VHS,my mom got so hooked on it she asked me a dozen times if she could watch it again. She fell in love with Shania and her entire band, theyr chemistry on stage was just second to noone. I think Shania got alot of commercial requests and model requests back in the day,but she only accepted a handful of them. When you get to listen in on some of her interviews you discover such a down to earth, adorable, modest and lovable personality. You just want to jump into the screen and hug her, shes just the loveliest. PS: Brad Pitt had a solid laughter when he first heard that line! And he felt honored over being mentioned in her song. Later on she switched out Brad Pitt with Ryan Reynolds, with Ryan live in the audience where you could see him bursting out in laughter. Noone can be mad at Shania, shes too sweet and lovable!
