Not sure what your age is, I’ll just say she was MASSIVE and there was nothing underrated about her. She took herself out of the industry for awhile, mostly for personal reasons.

Super! Just find it interesting when someone says “underrated” when they may not have the personal experience of the actual phenomenon, not just being aware of someone…like I know, love and appreciate Patsy Cline, but was not born when she hit it big. So you were basically just born when Shania hit it so big. I’m nearly 60, so I was in my 30s and experienced it firsthand as an adult and it was crazy. Like really crazy. Literally everything she touched was golden. I am very glad you like her mad skills not only as a singer but performer as well. That’s what makes these kind of channels fun and interesting!

Shania Twain (born Eilleen Regina Twain) rode the country sound to stardom in 1995... This was her third record 'Come on over' (1997) that fused country music and pop. Her image also took more a glam fashion than "country girl next door"... As a result, 'Come on over' became a megahit worldwide, selling 40 million copies worldwide, 20 million copies in the US... to become one of the biggest records of the 90's & made Shania Twain a superstar. Her music videos were all over MTV and radio... "You're still the one" was a huge hit as a pop ballad... Other video singles from that record - 'From this moment on' ... 'Love gets me every time' ... 'Man! I feel like a woman' ... "Honey, I'm home"
