On the 15th March 2019 New Zealand endured the worst terrorist attack in our history. An Australian white supremacist opened fire at 2 mosques with the intent of killing our Muslim brothers and sisters. He murdered 51 beautiful souls including children and injured 40 others. Stan Walker and Vince harder wrote a song for the affected community called ‘New Light’. You can watch ‘New Light’ live in studio with the Levites. I would love you to react to that performance. I’m sorry but this version does not set well with me! They are adding words & it makes it sound disrespectful to not only Chris Stapleton but also to the original, the OG, the 1st to ever sing this song, the late, great, George Jones!!! I WOULD THROW THIS VERSION STRAIGHT IN THE TRASH!!! Sorry that’s how I feel! This is a horrible rendition of this song!!! The changing of the lyrics is what done it for me.
