Tom writes all his own material but works with Nova for the hooks. Mac in particular had like 3 ppl write half his diss on Tom that’s why it is all over the place and really didn’t even sit or ride the beat well. As some others stated the Benoit line was the kill shot the rest of it was just kicking his corpse for real.

One of the details that I remember about this back and forth is that Lethal took nearly a week to release his diss. When he released it, he said he wouldn't respond if Tom released a response track (hence Tom's bar of him "tapping his shoulder and running"). Then like 16 hours after Lethal's diss released, Tom released this response to it. Which is insanely quick, especially considering that they shot and edited it as a music video.

The best part of being a Tom MacDonald fan is you don't have to defend him, my mans just comes thru solid af. And the humor. Tom's one of the funniest rappers, between the waving at drive bys to the post lines dudes got jokes. Same way ya don't need to defend Eminem bc he will just be more creative and complex than anyone he goes up against, you can count on Tom to be more funny, more sarcastic/satirical than any of his competition.

This is absolutely the last diss you hear him, like a whole song devoted to dissing someone specific, because he admitted later that he felt gross. He said it felt like he was doing something negative and that the things he was putting out there should be positive about himself and his team not negative about someone else's career. He made his whole Brave album with Adam Calhoun after calling him personally because Adam had started talking smack and he pretty much said "Let's rap it out, if you have problems with me lets talk about it." by the end of the conversation they found out all the things they have in common and ended up making an album together. I have a lot of respect for someone that practices what they talk about so SO much, that we have more in common than differences.

Mac's reply to this. Mac Lethal Sucks part 2, was a clickbait title that actually wasn't even about Tom. It was something about depression and how much he hates himself or something, lol. Might have even been a decent song if he had just named it something else. He didn't actually respond to Tom again, because when when he dropped the first one he said he wouldn't respond again, hence Tom's line about tapping him on the shoulder and running. After this, so many people were in his comments typing "Hi Dave, Hi Dave", he turned the comments off and eventually removed his own diss from his channel. Still happens to this day. He was trolled so much, he quit all social media for a while.

I believe Nova on her Twitch channel said she helped out with like 2 hooks and said she didn't even know why Tom said that. There seems to be no one else unless there is a secret ghost writer out there but you would think with all the hate someone would have already leaked that years ago. The way I see it is that Tom & Nova are basically married without the paperwork & you can't have lived together for like 15 years without one person being apart of the other thing you love. There's not a next part of this. Both of them came out with a real song a year or two later. And, they referred to them in a line or to about two indirectly. But, it definitely wasn't really directed towards each other. Tom said in the beginning of the song "I'm sorry for dissing that guy" amongst a bunch of other things. And, then he took it back. And, Mac only used the title of Tom's song, and said nothing about Tom. So, this is the end of the diss battle. I've seen a bunch of random reactors think there were five diss tracks. But, they changed their mind once they heard them. But, they changed their minds once they heard them. This was the end of the battle
