It is the first song in the trilogy and you really need to see it so that you know the story that unfolds over the final two songs in the trilogy. "Here's a quarter" (call someone who cares) was essentially his breakout single when he first made it big. Have been listening to him since he first hit the scene. Masterful storytelling country music as it always should be. By the way "10 feet tall and bulletproof" was the tour related to the album of the same name. Travis Tritt is amazing. His vocals are insane with the country, soul, blues mix. His songs range from ballads to party songs with some hillbilly southern rock. Songs like Drift off to dreams, Foolish pride, Trouble, Mondern day Bonnie and Clyde, Tell me i was dreaming, Best of intentions, Its a great day to be alive, Help me hold on, Here's a quarter, Love of a woman, Can i trust you with my heart, the whiskey aint working anymore, Lord have mercy on a working man...that just a few off the top of my head

Saw Travis in Columbus, Georgia about thirteen years ago. He is a great showman. Sang all these wonderful hits, some covers and album cuts, and told lots of stories. I felt like I was getting an invitation to his living room.

Doesn't hurt that you're an absolute smoke show either 🔥🔥 Keep doing your thang and I'll keep watchin. Also, I saw Travis Tritt in a small venue in Alexandria, VA several years ago. The Birchmere. Just like this. Just him, a bar stool and a guitar for 2+ hours. Just incredible. Hard to imagine a human can be that talented so effortlessly. He's incredible. Travis preformed this LIVE sitting on the edge of the stage at the 1992 American Music awards - story goes he was asked to fill in for a no-show & so he sat down, sang this with no rehearsal & BLEW the audience away - especially those non-country folks who had to re-think their dislike of country music after this number!! I watched this from home & to see the faces of the other artist as they were mesmerized by this simple performance!!! It is available on you tube!! Thanks for doing him - he is SOOO underrated yet belongs up their with the top outlaws of the day!!!
