So tragic, to be so deeply in love with someone in a relationship and they cast you aside as if you're nothing to them. 3 Libras, or 3lbs, is approximately the weight of the human brain. Whoever Maynard was singing about, he couldn't get them off his mind.

Keenan shed some light on this song in their aMotion DVD, where he explained this is a song about parasitic-like people seeing something different or special about a person. Instead of nurturing that quality or helping that person grow, the "3 Libras" feed off of the energy in a bad way instead of using it for good. On aMotion, Keenan also mentioned that he wrote the song for about 9 or so people in his life that have birthdays around the same time, hence the name "3 Libras." He titled it so the people with the Libran birthdays could battle it out to figure who he wrote the song about. Essentially, transforming the title into a prank on these friends.

Maynard also owns a winery. He opened it as another avenue to explore art. In line of this quote from him “The idea is, if I can't heal from my art, then how can you heal?”. He named the winery Caduceus Cellars. He has special bottles that are produced under the Judith name and has also opened up a smaller side project (Merkin Vineyard) and a experimentation winery for his wines. I joined early on just to get the free Autographed poster from Maynard. However, his wines were actually really good so I have stayed a member ever since. During the pandemic in one of the club shipments Maynard sent pencils and urged club members to take this time to create and not feel down. Each shipment comes with a description of the bottles that are almost like poetry at times. He has many expressions even outside of music that are great. I do not know if you like wine but if you ever wanted to try one of his wines while listening to his songs I would be happy to help procure one and set that up! I enjoy drinking his wine and just watching tool rock out!
