Adam Lambert and Leona Lewis performed "Girl Crush" on Country Music Association Awards /CMT Artists of the Year 2015 and the response to the performance was so great that they were nominated for CMT Performance of the Year 2016. During this crazy 2015 year, Adam released a chart-topping pop album, toured with the rock legends Queen and was nominated for prestigious country award… And now he's a star on Broadway.

I am an old (76) musician, vocals and multiple instruments. Been collecting singers since I was a teen.A long time, for sure. For decades I've had Michael Jackson on his stratospheric position of #1, and then below on my corral ,everyone else, very much loved and enjoyed. 15 years ago, the impossible happened. I got a #2 vocalist!! O thought that was impossible. Omg! Adam!!!! O was completely blown away, stunned, knocked out. Who was this kid, and how the hell was he affecting me as he was? O quickly knew when those big notes were coming. Was o going to have a brain aneurysm or a heart attack? Didn't know but o would die happy. Michael is and will always remain my #1, but I have my #2.u insanely talented Adam. And if I may add, also one of the nicest people to ever 😢 6:00 6:00 exist on the music industry.!!! ♥️👏💯

He is now performing on Broadway in Cabaret thru March..it was his dream to do Broadway.

I’ve been a fan of Adam since he was on American Idol. Tremendously talented vocalist. His rendition of ‘Believe’ at the Kennedy Center honors for Cher was out of this world. I like Leona too but as you said, his voice is at another level.

Great reaction! I loved this performance. I got goosebumps when Adam would sing- as usual. I was fortunate enough to see Adam on Broadway on his opening night. What a performance!

i loved this ❤ i saw it years ago and felt he can sing anything...they were singing the song as a tribute to little big town...they were the ones the camera panned to...and chris stapleton ;) if adam and chris did a duet...my head would explode ❤

The original singers were being awarded at the CMT’s but they had a death in the family of one of the band members. So they asked Adam and Leona to fill in.

Какой же Ламберт крутой вокалист. Рок, кантри, фанк, блюз, опера - он везде хорош, этому парню тесно в одном жанре. А как он здорово озвучивает мультики. Его Максимус великолепен. 12 лет с Queen, сейчас главная роль на Бродвее, даже трудно представить куда его занесёт после этого.
