The stations have surely played the hell out of Elton John, George Michael, Lil Nas X, etc. The only difference is that they all kept it a secret til they were famous Adam did not, he owned it & gets punished for his honesty.😢

You should check out Adam Lambert singing Nessun Dorma in Bologna, Italy in Italian, acapella as a gift for the Italian people. He was warming up with it and Brian May hear him and asked if he could sing it on stage; he said yes. Adam told Jennifer Hudson that he took one year of opera in high school even though the didn't want to be an opera singer, but he felt it was like ballet is the foundation of dance, that opera is the foundation of music. Adam just got back from China where he competed in a show called, "Singer", he ended up #1 on all the Chinese charts. The show, Singer, wanted to make it more real so they said no auto tuning or other mechanical devices to help the vocals of the singers so a lot of stars refused to participate, not Adam. Although, I can't imagine Dr./Sir Brian May ever working with a vocalist that needed machines to make their voice sound like they could actually sing.

Love this analysis. Adam never uses autotune, just FYI. He doesn't have to. And this is one of his "Live Sessions" that he did for Velvet since he was unable to do a promotional tour for the album.

@@ethanhval9593 "Nobody really liked his solo stuff" Hey now, speak for yourself there. Just because he's not mega huge in the US like he is overseas doesn't mean "nobody" likes his solo stuff. The industry isn't limited to the US. Even in the US his first five solo albums hit the Billboard Top 10 with _Trespassing_ debuting at #1. _For Your Entertainment_ would have hit #1 too if it wasn't for Susan Boyle's first album dropping on the same day.

It is no longer a rumor, it has hit the news today, Adam Lambert has been cast as Emcee in Cabaret on Broadway, he will start on September 16th and perform until March 25th. He had been in the chorus in Wicked and understudy for Fiyero. His Voice on videos is great, but I've seen him in person and I can't think of anyone who can out sing him. Since you said he had a Broadway voice, I thought you'd like to know that he will be making is first appearance on Broadway in September 2024.
@lucilleconsenza82393 ай бұрын
I can't wait for him to go on Broadway that's the voice he has for Broadway he doesn't have the rock voice to sing with Queen he could never ever sing or hit the notes that Freddie Mercury did
@veneziastar3 ай бұрын
@@lucilleconsenza8239 You have you have every right to your opinion. Adam Lambert is very much a take me or leave me kind of person, he doesn't really care whether you you like him or not. His estimated net worth per Forbes is approximately $50 million dollars. His vocal performances are loved worldwide. Queen chose Adam Lambert as their vocalist, Adam Lambert didn't chose them. Brian May calls him, " A gift from God." He's the only vocalist, Queen found, who can sing the entire Queen catalog, which Queen sold for a billion dollars to Disney. Considering the ages of Sir/Dr. Brian May and Roger Taylor, I doubt you'll ever see QAL in the U.S. so you'll never again have to listen to Adam Lambert sing with QAL. Adam Lambert loves doing private shows. He finds them a lot more fun than doing large staged shows. It costs between a $100,00 to $199,000 or more to hire him for a private show. He recently went to Morroco to perform for a private show and he just returned from Denmark from a private show he performed there.
