It takes absolute guts for any artist to perform their own rendition of a song in front of the original artist, let alone in front of a legend for the Kennedy Centre Honors!! Adam was phenomenal and Cher was reduced to tears and jumped to her feet as soon as Adam finished the song, just can’t imagine what that reaction from Cher must have felt like for him! That has to be one of the biggest accolades and accomplishments of Adam’s career apart from his work with Queen! ❤

When i saw Adam on american idol i told my house hold on day one he was going to win. We all watched religiously. When he didnt win all of america knew it was bull and he was cheated. But Adam was ok with it because he knew he was going somewhere no matter if he won or not. I said it didnt matter because his talent was going to take him places. Then one day my son called me up and said mom you were right, Adam is the lead singer for Queen. And my heart sung for him. We love you Adam. Your talent is legendary!😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊❤❤❤❤❤

Some major appearances in New York the previous week Touring again with Queen this fall, sold out in a day. As mentioned in the comments The Isle of Wight performance is special. This performance and the Isle of Wight one are used by vocal coaches as master classes. When Queen and AL were in Bologna last summer( July 10th) they did an impromptu Puccini cover of Nessum Dorma which is stunning. Fun too!

Thank you for just being you, it's easy to see your reaction on your face and I had the same reaction to this fantastic performance by Adam Lambert as you. I followed him on American Idol and fell in love with his totally own way to make a song his and his voice is out of this world. I have ben so lucky to meet him twice and he is the most down to earth person, so sweet and he is all smiles. I saw him when he visited Denmark and Norway back in 2010, the time I met him. I can tell you one thing. I am now 63 years old, I am from the 60s and was teenager in the 70s and grow up with SO much great music that still today is popular. I have ben to a ton of concerts since my first one with Deep Purple back in '73 and are still going to concerts. I have NEVER - as I was to Adams concert in Oslo, Norway, ben hyptonized. I was on first row looking right up into his face and his present is so powerful that I didn't see other musicians, dancers or anything. I was BLOWN away by Adam and still today I remember it clearly. His extra song before the concert ended was "20th Century Boy" by T.Rex who I was and still am a HUGE fan of. He killed the song and I was right back in 1973 when I saw T.Rex and I couldn't believe what I heard. I was at that time 50 years old, but somehow also 13 :D Long story short, THANK you for your channel. I have subscribed and will follow you. I properly will ask you to listen to some songs along the way and it's of course up to you if you want to check them out. Hugs to you from Denmark. Snug
