SU-METAL sings. My brain “YES! The queen is gifting us with her voice.” MOAMETAL doesn't smile. My brain “Does not compute. File not found. Weird. Error disk file.” Moa has one of the most beautiful smile in the world and hiding it is a crime. BABYMETAL is the only music group that I would pay tickets to travel from Canada to Japan to see them perform live. I don't even go to concerts in my own town. Luke, SUMETAL did a cover for an Neon Genesis Evangelion song “Tamashii No Refuran” just in case you'd like to react to her, or to the original.

I was there in the crowd. It was indescribable. The atmosphere was insane. Remember this was the first time anyone had seen them since 2020 and this is how they made their return. The emotion in the crowd was so strong. I saw people crying.

When the song first came out, my first thought was that this is gonna be an amazing song live and boy was I right. The crowd, the stage, the presentation, the band, Su’s voice… BABYMETAL is just a world class level band. I really hope they go on tour in the America’s because I’d die to see this live!

Great Reaction as always. I was one of many lucky fans. I witnessed them on day 2. This was opening song. Show started with flames and smoke. Crowd was chanting, you could feel the energy. First seconds of the song and i got emotional, couldn't stop crying. Joy, goosebumps, high blood pressure, running heartbeat, all of my body was shaking. And all of this through our all of the show. At he end i lost my voice, got some bruises on legs and hands (from mosh'sh pit), i was tired from jumping and shouting. Bit i was happy never before I wish you to visit their concert and get same or better experience.

You want Su at arguably her most vocally powerful? 4 words: From Dusk til Dawn. Just make sure you listen to the Budokan 2021 version as its probably the most clear for the lyrics (the studio version isn't so good, but it is one of their few completely English songs).

We were expecting this live version but unfortunately is with the album track audio, guess we'll have to wait next month when releasing the full live version of this live concert held past weekend January 28 - 29 in Makuhari Messe, Japan. It's been almost two years since last performance and three years since being in this stage. Apparently SuMetal was having an issue with the IEM and she sounds a little bit off with the tiempo but i guess this will be fix in the live version, is all good, this song will be better next live in April 1 (Fox Day) at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama when performing "BABYMETAL BEGINS" and with a new official member. The whole concert was madness and if you can you should really experience this BM one of kind live show like many did from other countries. Look for Flugelhorn, Minami Hidek,i and Michael M among others comments to read their experience, some of them the first time watching. I love to see our queen and princess coming back with this epic track, the stage setup is insane and it meet up my expectations and beyond, can't wait for more. She has already : been qualified to go on tour abroad, got along with West Kamis, gone through the 10 BM Budokan and mastered choreo of at least five new songs. When the audio was released I wasn’t sure about this song, but I’ve watched this video a dozen or so times since they released it and any kind of apprehension about the new album, this gets rid of all that and then some. This song is very trilogy of light to me. Which to me is a good thing. As much as I like the first album and just fun songs like gimme chocolate and catch me if you can, but I really love the more serious direction the second half of Metal Galaxy took. It’s just very ethereal and moving, like it stabs me in the soul.

I've read that a concealed third person was walking to a third coffin with Su and Moa on the show on the 29th. I think it would be great if they gave full membership to Momoko, she's been the most active Avenger this whole time. I'm asking for a lot here. There are 3 thrones on the stage. The hearsay is that a new 3rd full time member will be announced shortly. Who knows. Totally possible nothing will come out of it. I'm 100% positive Yui isn't coming back. On the other hand, I'm really hoping Momoko (The last standing Avenger) will finally and deservingly so takes that position. As a Sakura Gakuin fan, after Su, Yui, and Moa left, Momoko became my favorite in the group. I truly think she's earned the spot. She can sing, is an amazing dancer, and cute as hell. What else can you ask for?

This was from their shows at Makuhari Messe (Japan), January 28 & 29, 2023. So literally last week. In this show, They performed 5 songs from the new album; the 3 that are already out, and they premiered the songs “THE LEGEND” and “Light & Darkness” too. This show gave us a LOT of information about the upcoming few months with Babymetal.. plenty of hints towards an official 3rd member in the band. Including the fact that there were 3 thrones on stage.

Hey, last night was Setsubun Fest in Japan, and I threw beans and drank. Then I went to bed and woke up, and I found that some outrageous had been dropped! Even though she got up in the middle of the song, was it ever a time when Su- would sit and sing? Only had it when she had played the piano?.. I believe she has always sung standing up. She's hardly ever sung sitting down, has she? She is now a dignified woman. She even has dignity...

What's very obvious in this video is how carefully Su pronounces every single syllable. I have noticed before that her lyrics are much easier to "understand" than most other Japanese singers', and here it shows why that is. I'm not sure whether you have realized that this is studio audio. From the clips I have heard, it seemed like Su's vocals at the actual show were not as perfect as we are used to. But I'm sure they will be once they have performed this a few times. It must be difficult to get back on stage after such a long time.

Regarding her enunciation vs other singers, it’s a stylistic choice. The Japanese language allows vocals be be “devoiced” It’s why the name Shinsuke is pronounced shin-skay as opposed to shin-soo-kay. Most Japanese artists devoice regularly where Su only does it when absolutely necessary for speed and flow. Definitely helpful for a foreign audience.

You can also really see how wide she opens her mouth and opening up her throat. I've only seen her do this when she's making a real music video and lip syncing from when she was younger. It's so cool to see her actually do the same technique when she's singing live now. Just awesome.

There has been two previous times I have said Su has never looked and sounded so beautiful to me. 1st was Legend S No Rain No Rainbow. 2nd was Legend M Shine. Now I HAVE to add a 3rd time. Su looked beyond enchanting and sounds amazing. Moa as always is beautiful and I love her English pronunciation Like I said before her voice is pure warmth. I adore both these women.
