Yes, Bruce Springsteen and Molly Ringwald did that dance before Carton jumped on the dance train; Carlton was watching MTV too. Before that it was the Charleston, way back before color tvs.

This isn't a typical Springsteen song or performance. This is the most pop/commercial Bruce. All this was for MTV popularity. Most of his performances are very gritty I love Springsteen anyway he performs!

A little trivia, the girl he brings on stage is Courtney Cox of Friends fame, I believe this was one of her first jobs in show business.

Bruce is authentic working class, and he has stayed true to his origins throughout his career. My own Springsteen favorites are among hsi earlier music: "Born to Run," "Jungleland," "Thunder Road," "Candy's Room," "Factory," "Racing in the Street," "Hungry Heart," "My Father's House," "Independence Day."

This is a fun song, but I gotta tell you, he's got forty that are better. This one is pop; he's a rocker and a folk singer. From his "Live 1975-1985" three-CD album - for starters: Thunder Road; Backstreets; Darkness at the Edge of Town; Racing In the Streets; The River (WITH the intro); Independence Day; War; Badlands. . . A few others: from the Born To Run album, Jungleland; Meeting Across the River. Strays: Born to Run (official video), Rosalita (live - the one where Clarence Clemons is wearing the red suit); My Hometown (studio, Tougher Than the Rest (live), Atlantic City. This is a transcendent talent, and a culture -altering person. PLEASE don't even think about stopping here. Compared to all of those, this is fluff!

I love this song, I love most of Bruce's song. I was in my twenties in the sixties, love The Doors, The Band, many more. Listen to Born in the USA, it is a critic of how the Vietnam Vets were treated when they returned. This one is more full of life, and love Clarence (the big man) on the saxophone.

Written by Bruce Springsteen. Before this song was written, his producer wanted him to write ✍ a single. Springsteen was frustrated: he already wrote 9 other songs for the upcoming album. He went to his hotel 🏨 and wrote the song about his frustration. Last song recorded. The album Born in the USA 🇺🇸 was Number 2 in Billboard in 1985. Reckless from Bryan Adams was Number 1. The voice. Raspy like Sir Rod Stewart, Don Henley and Bryan Adams. The dancer 💃 . A young Courtney Cox was selected. This appearance led to her role in the TV 📺 comedy Family Ties 👔. Band members. Drummer 🥁 Max Weinberg was on Conan O'Brien. Weinberg and keyboardist Roy Brittan played in studio 🎙 recordingswith other musicians. I list 1 below. Suggested songs 🎵 1 Bruce Springsteen sings Because the Night. 2 Air Supply performs Making Love Out of Nothing at All.

This song is from the Born in the USA album. Honestly that album is such a great album and his most successful album I believe. A non skip album. You should react to the whole album at some point.

I vote for the live in NYC performance of "Jungleland". If you want to do Born in the USA, make sure you research first to understand that it is about the Vietnam War. Your research is what makes your channel unique and your comments insightful. Don't stop!

I’d rather watch u do the research LIVE. It’s what separates u from the rest of the pack and I personally enjoyed ur song research. It’s a nice setup to the video and also.. I feel like a band member just got kicked out and now we are trying to continue on.. but it just ain’t the same lol

BTW, Born In the USA, to me, is another example of a 'hit' that's really a minor song, artistically and creatively, in an unbelievable career. He's way more than those...no offense to fans.

"Dancing" is an OK "Pop" song, but none of Bruce's unique intensity. Try Bruce's live performance of "Ghost of Tom Joad" with Tom Morello. Amazing singing performances by Bruce and Morello, with Morello's unique guitar. Also, Springsteen and the E-Street Band's live version of "Jungle Land". Listen during tours from the 1980's or 90's (best tape quality), but don't listen to this song much later, since Springsteen's Saxophone Player (Clarence Clemons) died in 2011, and you need to hear Clarence's Sax solo in his prime.

2 musts: Tenth Avenue Freezeout, from Born to Run, a tribute to old Motown that's fantastic; and The River, from the album of the same name, a story song that is beautiful and haunting.

Your first Springsteen reaction and you pick one of his most schlockey un-Springsteen songs ever? Who recommended this to you, the chick from Friends? You should have started with Tenth Avenue Freeze Out or Born to Run. Sheesh. Even Springsteen fanatics don't really like this song.

A fun song though more a pop song that does not represent the real Bruce. You need to react to several songs or just the whole Born to Run album . Songs like the title song, Tenth Ave. Freeze Out, Thunder Road Meeting Across The River, and especially Jungle Land which is an epic tune. Rosalita from a previous also is unforgettable as well! This tune is an eighties watered down Springsteen!
