I love the message of this song, about fighting personal demons. The way she portrays them too is really amazing, for the budget that she has. It's an original song, that I believe was about her personal demons, and the bullying she got, especially from those who did not believe in her reclusiveness when not singing.

There is no one even close to being a great rock artist like Courtney! I'm 63 and a big classic rock fan, but I was sad cuz rock is dying. When I heard Courtney, I was amazed and happy

Courtney loves old rock: Janis Joplin, James Brown, Chuck Berry , Tina Turner etc. She learned some of her moves from you-tube watching James Brown vids 😂😂😍😍

Hi. Courtney is absolutely amazing. Love her incredible rock side, but I also think she is equally great across so many genres. R&B, Funk, Soul, Ballads and more. Virtually all artists, no matter how big, have their comfort zone. Inside that zone, great. Outside of it, not so much. Courtney has such amazing range, that I don’t think we’ve found where her comfort zone ends, or if there is an end. She even had an opera clip go viral on TikTok. You take Courtney’s fabulous vocal power, control and versatility, the way she can dominate a stage, her powerhouse skills as a song writer, her dynamite guitar playing and her off the charts creativity, and we’re clearly listening to a generational level talent. One of the greatest artists to come along in our lifetime. Courtney went through hell to start getting her original music out. First, her label for years trying to turn her into something she didn’t want to be. Another pop princess. Can you imagine that magnificent voice you just heard being limited to just pop, but there’s more. Of course, there was Covid, which delayed her album release for more than two years. Then her label was sold, creating even more chaos. At the beginning of this year, as soon as she could, she walked away from her label and went independent. Since than, there have been a torrent of brilliant original releases, with much more to come. ‘Monsters’ is an incredible song. Best rock song in forever and if you listen to the lyrics, they have so much depth and meaning. Courtney has said that the monsters are all the insecurities and self-doubt that we all wrestle with. In that regard, the message is universal. They may be different for each of us, but we all wrestle with our own demons. ‘Monsters’ was Courtney's her first foray back into her rock persona since going independent, but she has already released five sensational songs this year, across multiple genres, three of which you have yet to react to. First was ‘Breakable’, a gorgeous gritty ballad, then ‘That Girl Don’t Live Here’, an uptempo, jazzy number with a touch of almost 1940’s Swing and most recently, a sensational rocky Christmas song called 'Christmas Rocks', which just demands that you move with it. All would make terrific reactions. Plans next year are to complete and release her long delayed debut album. It may be one of the most anticipated releases in recent memory. Before Courtney is done, she is going to change the face of music. I can’t wait to see what she does next. To answer your question, Courtney turned 19 this past July.

Lady is really pretty. I will be back as long as you continue to react to Courtney--the best thing happening to music currently. Her influences are many great past artists, but her voice and performance style are her own!

Another great reaction, as far as I no her inspirations are people like Janis Joplin, James brown, Pink, Tiner Turner and many more, Courtney is 19 years old now her birthday is in July and I only know this cos it’s only a couple days before my daughters 😊

She had great performances on AGT. Those dance moves are a little reminder that she has not forgotten them. She is 19 on this video. Her birthday is in early July.

Courtney Hadwin is the embodiment of Music. She lives, breaths and performs music with all her being. She literally has brought millions around the world back to listening to music again with the excitement of a young teen. Yet, unlike many artists, she cannot be linked to any one genre for fans to love her musical talent. This young lady is a natural. Even when she tries something new, within a short while, she will have figured it out quicker than most. We hope you'll travel her road to find out what we all know about her. She's worth the time and will amaze you both, I believe.

Thank you for this! I love your reactions and I love Courtney Hadwin. Was hoping you'd get to her latest in time for Christmas but Monsters is an awesome song too, plus it's got a great video, and Courtney said unfortunately there won't be a video for Christmas Rocks. Her first two original songs have great videos too, Breakable and That Girl Don't Live Here, which were released early this year. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

She is 19 now. You did not give much analysis other than agreeing with Courtney's brave sentiments. I do not think she is a Christian but understands her nature and other's nature. Please pray for her. She is a great talent that I hope gets a chance to continue to show her abilities.
