Mind-boggling that the man who created this masterpiece is sitting there listening to it with us. Somebody pinch me.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this. I was a big fan of Howard in the 80s, and was lucky enough to see Howard play in my town in the 90s.The song brings so much nostalgia... it has always been one of my favs.

Y'all should check out "The Prisoner" by Howard Jones. Not one of his bigger hits but easily my favorite . A little more rockin' edge to it. Also - FANTASTIC to get the man himself looped in on your musical journey!

I think it’s fantastic to have these artists on the channel sharing a little bit of their music, and their knowledge about music. ❣️

Im 63 years old from the UK and Howard jones was one of my favourite singers back then . Great to see him . Its mad how time has flown by .. I was thinking not so long ago Tom Jones commented on one of your reactions to one of his songs it would be great if you could get TOM JONES ON 👍💯

I started with Elvis live at 4yrs old and have been a metal head ever since. There are, however, songs that, regardless of the artist or genre, grab your soul. This, Mr. Jones is one of those songs, and I won't apologize for how much I love it and how deeply it touches me. Thank you.

Awwww y'all...this song is, does, has and always bring a tear to my eyes. Howard has a lovely voice, and I so appreciate the drumming skills of Mr. Phil Collins.

Howard, love you, I have always loved this song. It was a delight to see you on here. Jay and Amber, the light that shines from both of you always amazes me. Jay, you have a gift of communication that flows so effortlessly. I also appreciate your ability to pick up on various aspects of songs that a lot of us may miss at times. I also appreciate your honesty when you simply aren’t vibing with a particular song. And Amber, the depth of understanding of a song’s meaning that you demonstrate in ways both literal and implied, and your ability to connect to the emotions of a song so deeply and so quickly, is a rare and beautiful ability. It’s also one of the main reasons why I’ve subscribed to you both for such a long time. Keep doing what you’re doing and keep spreading the love out into this world. We all need it now more than ever.

I saw Howard in concert in the 80s . It was an outdoor concert in New Jersey on a beautiful summer night, and it was one of the best concerts I have seen...and I used to go to A LOT of concerts back then! I am 70 now and I still love him and his music.

This song brings back so many memories! Thank you for renewing my love of this artist! It really rings true that the lyrical gifts change meaning through the years and are different for each listener. All of your interpretations are maturing with your channel. I'm so glad you are continuing and not giving up like so many others. Keep going, yay!! ☮️ ❤️ 🎶 🎸 🎶

My favorite Howard Jones song. I got to see Howard when he was in Ringo’s All Starr band. He was amazing. Was hoping they would talk more about the recording of the song.

Wow that's amazing ! A reaction to a song from the man himself, i don't think this has ever been done with a reaction channel like yourselves so good on ya for that, well done. As for this song, it brings back childhood memories growing up in the 80's. The last great era of music in my opinion. I was always a fan of Howard Jones's music, he is one of a kind. Thanks again !

Another excellent one, and I love this song. Jay, when you mentioned you're an athlete, I have to say that for as long as I've been watching the channel I always look at you and think "hey, he kind of looks like Karl-Anthony Towns!" :)

‘Life In One Day’ is also an outstanding song by HJ. But I think the actual music video distracts you from the greatness of the song. It deserved more exposure than it did? But even though the video was trying to convey a message? It didn’t really show the pure genius of that song. Well that’s how I felt about it. Lol Also check out ‘You Know I Love You, Don’t You?’ Dam fun song too!

Howard Jones is cool but do they really care or is it just for views or to look like they care.
