Without spoilers it goes something like "an unusually intense and emotional Isekai anime based on the mystery and gore genre with a touch of psychological horror". Worth seeing as a masterpiece. The focus in this anime is essentially on the Mystery, this brings a lot of stress and at the same time how the openings had already shown pain from the protagonist.
@albertwesker3299 Жыл бұрын
Slightly disagree. The mystery is secondary to the Character growth. Ultimately the story is a character study based on self love and learning to improve yourself as a person.

Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World also known as Re: Life in a different world from zero. A Japanese teen is transported to another world, but his only "cheat" is the respawn/restart mechanic of a video game. He starts over from a "save point" when he dies. He dies a lot in many, many painful ways, trying to save his friends and himself.
@teammystic4life382 жыл бұрын
Idk if anyone said a quick summary of the anime yet but it's about a normal teenage boy from Japan getting randomly transported to a fantasy type world with magic and demi human beings living amongst humans. The Mc also gets an ability to go back in time after he dies and that's all I'm saying.
@agustindirisio27662 жыл бұрын
the show in an isekai (the dude gets teleported to another world in the first minute of the show). There are people with powers, talking beasts, etc. And the only "power" he gets is to restart from a checkpoint after he dies, remembering everything that happened (also remembers perfectly how he dies, the pain, etc). But the story is hard to explaing without spoiling everything

Man this anime/novel is a masterpiece. I'm already read the novel too, and just keep getting better. One thing I can tell you that makes this story so great, is the protagonist. In most manga and anime the prota is always representing like a being without flaws, but in this case, sometime you feel literary disgusted by his point of view and his actions. And this humanity is so fricking great, because you can relate more with the chacter. And of course the develope of ALL the characters is simple awasome.

This is the best show in the isekai genre. And probably among one of my top animes period. To put it into perspective. #1 RE:Zero (Best story) #2 Mushoku Tensei (Best "typical" isekai, this would have been the top if not for Re:Zero's unique and very captivating story) #3 Konosuba (Best comedic isekai) #4 Overlord (Best game style isekai so far, SAO could have been a contender but due to S2 and GGO it's overall not as good but S1 and alicization onwards is very very good, also without SAO there would be no Overlord, it's the grandaddy of VRMMO style of isekais) #5 Eminence in the Shadow (Best cringy/edgy parody isekai, also second best in terms of comedy after Konosuba) The slime isekai and the spider isekai are also good, both are game-like but I'd probably not put them ahead of Overlord still

I highly, HIGHLY recommend watching the Made in Abyss wholeheartedly. It is such an amazing series. My personal favorite 1000%. The story is so compelling, yet it catches you by surprise over and over again (really), the art style is beautiful, the music is A MASTERPIECE. The absolutely amazing music done by Kevin Penkin, and the Endings and openings by other composers such as Myth & Roid (The same people who made the openings for Re:ZERO). I really, REALLY encourage you react to it.
