First Time Reaction To: Agust D Ft. Ryuichi Sakamoto & WOOSUNG 'Snooze' MV

I never clicked so fast on one of your reactions. This is my favourite song on his album Especially the "It's gonna be okay" mantra in the middle... Ryuichi Sakamoto is a pianist and composer and was a huge influence for Suga and he got to meet him during filming his Disney+ documentary "Road to D-Day" but sadly he passed away in the beginning of 2023 Woosung is a vocalist of the Korean Rock Band "The Rose". I discovered them last year and then suddenly this collab came 😅 Suga said these are words for younger idols who come after him and also words for his own younger self

Awww it’s okay, most of Yoongi’s songs make me cry 😭. This song was written for his juniors in the industry since as he has always said he wants to be a comfort to them since they had no one during their climb. But honestly I think this song will give comfort to everyone not just people in the industry…but to all people that have dreams, which is most of us. And if people don’t have a dream that’s okay too! Love and miss Yoongi so much 💜💜💜

If you really want to get completely shattered, you should watch the fan cams of his last concert in Soul. He broke down in tears himself during three songs. Snooze and Amygdala were two of them. He was crying so hard, he couldn't sing but Korean ARMY was there for him and they sang the lyrics when he wasn't able to. If you ever have a day when you need to cry and yet feel comforted when you do, that's the best time to watch those fan cams. Seeing him like that broke me, but you could literally feel the love and care from K-ARMY through the screen and it was so uplifting. I don't even envy those who were actually there for that incredible performance. I'm just glad that ARMY was able to be there for him. ARMY has a couple of sayings that seem to apply here. We say that you find BTS when you need them the most and that really seems to be true. We also say that RM writes his songs with his mind, J-Hope writes his with his heart and Yoongi writes his with his soul. No matter how sad, painful, or shocking something might be in his songs, we don't even question whether or not they're true. He's just that raw and honest in all of his music. He truly is incredible.

I discovered Woosung and The Rose thanks to this song, and they are pretty awesome too. This song is beautiful & comforting. Sometimes you just need to pause and have a good cry (and a nap!) before tackling whatever is on your way.

This is my favorite Suga song and it introduced me to Woosung and The Rose. They were touring in my city last week and I saw them. They are amazing. Check out Shift, Beautiful, Cure. Woosung's voice is phenomenal.

If you don’t want to cry even more, you really shouldn’t listen to his first Agust D mixtape all the way through to D-Day 😭 just kidding, you should definitely do that HAHA But fr though, this song hits even more when you get to hear their (and Yoongi’s) older songs cause D-Day is him finally being at peace with himself after all the shit he’s been through. And to think that, instead of getting bitter and vindictive towards the world for all the finger-pointing, he’s chosen instead to become softer. Really reminds me of the quote: No one knows the violence it took to become this gentle

Finally🎉, I was waiting for your reaction to this song.. It is truly my favorite. I remember when the album dropped for the first time. I was in the saddest days of my life and I was about to give up on my dream and everyone was against me. Then I listened to this song and I was alone and I sat screaming at the top of my voice along with the words as if they were hers. It was directed specifically for me. Oh my God, I can never forget that day😭😭 You should have watched the performance of this song at his last concert in Seoul. It was devastating and terrible. Yoongi broke down in tears while performing this song, as well as the song “Amygdala” and dear my friend’s song.. This concert will never be erased from my memory for the rest of my life.
