Dean Martin could get onstage totally unprepared and give a fantastic performance every time because he was a very talented, seasoned performer.

Ahhh DEAN MARTIN, one of the greatest and most recognizable Baritone voices EVER. And ELVIS PRESLEY was ironically the other. Dean was one of Elvis' many influences. I think he learned the importance of PRONUNCIATION during from Dean. Also what you can do with a God-gifted golden baritone.

This was great really enjoyed it. Dean was a great singer. My favorites are Yr Nobody Till Somebody Loves You, Everybody loves Somebody Sometimes and Houston. He had many others also.
@kenqb54502 жыл бұрын
Dean had his own variety show, as did many singers and comedians, in the 1970s, that is where this clip comes from. Dean also hosted "Celebrity Roasts", there is one star where other stars came out and told jokes at the specific star's expense, hilarious. Pick one any one, for a reaction. Dean's most well known songs are "That's Amore", "Ain't That a Kick In The Head", "Houston", and "Sway".

IF you decide to do a reaction to a Dean Martin roast segment, I highly suggest the segment of the Sammy Davis Jr roast where Foster Brooks does the roasting honors! That, or Foster roasting Don Rickles!

Might I recommend a Dean Martin Country Song, "Going Back To Houston." Dean had dozens of song hits and starred in a few Movies. I could recommend songs such as "That's Amora" but I love "Return to Me."

Donna Butterworth appeared in "Paradise, Hawaiian Style," 1966 with Elvis, as Dean Martin pointed out. I think the song she performed in that movie was "Won't You Come Home, Bill Bailey." Pretty talented girl! She's probably my age right now! Glad you enjoyed it, Tasha. If you haven't checked it out, watch and listen to Dean's biggest hit, "Everybody Loves Somebody." Peace out and God bless!

Lookup Dean Martin on KZbin... He was a actor in movies, had his own tv variety show for almost 10 years in the 70's and the the Dean Martin celebrity roast. Of course his singing career. Along with a great dad to his 7 children.

Dean Martin has a great singing voice. A couple of my favorites are (sounds cliche, but..) that's amore and mambo Italiano. But he has tons of other awesome stuff. And definitely Elvis Presley is amazing singing and acting. But if you enjoy these oldies you might like Que Sera Sera by Doris Day or Walkin After Midnight by Patsy Cline. That should be enough to get you hooked.

I just watched a documentary about Dean Martin and he didn't want to do that show.. he told them.. I'm gonna be on the golf course.. the show went 9 yrs with him just showing up for an hour or 2.. he was so good he made it happen.. That's crazy.. my husband was just telling me that Barbara Mandrel quit her show after 1 yr because her and her sisters were working 14 hrs 6 days a week to put on a 1 hour show. Deano wasn't going to do that.. and it went 9 yrs.. insane.

You need to watch the part in the movie Rio Bravo which Dean Martin sings My Rifle, Pony and Me. Not only will you hear Dean sing beautifully without rehearsing, (He would never rehearse) but there is a part near the end where Ricky sings a few bars. At this point, you will realize that Dean is a much better singer. They do sound good together...but then Dean could always sound good with anyone. Watch his show and you'll see how he is with many great singers.
