Beautiful Biscute, That reaction was one of the most expressive and truly heartfelt reactions I have ever witnessed. As I watched you break down, I started to cry for Eric Clapton, and for you. Very, very sad and, at the same time, so soul touching and heart soothing. Your lovely eyes reveal the true beauty of your heart and soul. They speak silently to all that take the time to see. Thank you so much for that exquisite reaction. I love you from this moment on based on the compassion and character that you have revealed.

one tidbit that isn't well known, when writing this song, there was a lot going on in Eric's life, and the emotional epicness of this tragedy weighed so heavy on him that he didn't feel he could complete it with the level of satisfactory he would be content over time to accept. So, he asked a good friend of his, Mark Knopfler, to write the guitar pieces for the song. Eric, being a famous guitarist, ranked among the list of greatest of all time, blues genre mostly but also classic rock, intrusted Mark to write such a significant song speaks volumes about both men. Eric for having such humbleness and humility to accept someone else's work to speak for him, and Mark for being so talented and connected to Eric to be able to write such a piece. If you don't know Mark, he is the lead singer/lead guitarist for the band, Dire Straits, you would be enriched to check the long list of their songs out as well as more Eric Clapton's. There is a live version of this song in which Eric and Mark perform it. The video is taken from a movie that used the song in its soundtrack. The movie was about narcotics officers working undercover to break a huge drug ring, which required them to take the drug frequently and in the end they became addicts, the movie focuses a lot on their struggles as addicts and breaking the addiction. There is death, separation, tragedy, and sorrow in the movie for which this song is overlaid. You not watching the video too much saved you from being distracted by the storyline of the movie which had nothing to do with Eric's personal story. I think you're better off focusing on the real-life tragedy.

It's great to see that you have a heart and can feel it. I've been watching you for a long time and I really like your naturalness and honesty. Just to complete your knowledge, I'm telling you that official sources say that Eric Clapton, when he came home from the funeral, saw a letter in the mailbox. This letter was a heart and the inscription I love you, sent on the day of his son's death and outlined as 4-year-olds do. Eric locked himself at home for 13 months and cut himself off from the world. He just came back with this song for which he received a lot of awards ... Honesty and truth are the most important values. Thank you for not hiding yours from us.

Tears in Heaven" is a ballad written by Eric Clapton and Will Jennings about the pain Clapton felt following the death of his four-year-old son, Conor, who fell from a window of the 53rd-floor New York apartment of his mother's friend, on March 20, 1991. A song that will touch the very depths of all who listen to it.🙏

served him n his family their drinks a few times when he came to the pub I worked in for Sunday lunch. Genuinely nice bloke. Legendary musician. Glass of dry white wine, lager tops, pint of tetleys and a newcastle brown ale. Always remembered that order

Our emotions does come out with a loss. I've been through it many times unfortunately and the older.I get the more the emotions come out.

Even after the years since Conners and my granddaughters deaths and this song having been out for so long it always tugs at my heart and wets my eyes to think of my granddaughter....She was only 19 months old......one day I'll see her again and like Eric, I don't know that I'll belong there.....maybe to visit and see her again.
