Most people start with "We Love Sweets" so you are in for a treat! they have nothing but bangers. "Pardon me i have to go now" is very popular, "Be the GAL" is so much fun!. Yukina is only 4'10 and one of the best growlers period. They are going on a Canada/NA tour in May, then headed to EU for June/July and will be back to play the main stage at Lollapalooza in august. Welcome to Harajukucore!

"We Love Sweets" is a must reaction. And yes this is normal. They are brutal.

They are fire. The Japanese metal/rock scene is incredible. Lovebites, Nemophila, Band-Maid are others you need dive deeper with. Some extremely taleneted bands with some elite misicians.

Ha-nah-bee-eh (like your Canadian😂) In Japan, they call it the gap. The difference between what you see and what you hear (like Band-Maid and Babymetal) We Love Sweets, next please!🙏🤘👍

Welcome to the structured chaos of Hanabie calling their genre Harajukucore ! Hear what you want they never disappoint ! Yukina the main singer is even better and heavier now and she also have high pitch vocals. I recommend their last song Otaku Lovely Densetsu. SAw them live last year one of the best concert of my life. 🤟

If you want more, check out their mature sound in "Otaku Lovely Densetsu" or "Be the GAL". "Envy" is one of their less weird songs. You'll also see the new drummer, the excellent Chika. I'll be catching them live in May.

One of their earliest songs. They've only gotten more polished. Get ready for "We Love Sweets" "L.C.G." and "Tousou." Brutal, yet they make it super fun.

What a great song choice for your start!! It's one of their older ones but a favourite and doesn't get enough attention. As Alan has said, you should check out WE LOVE SWEETS next as it's their business card in a single song lol. Once you have sufficiently gone down the Hanabie track you need to check out some of their songs without videos as its some of their best and fan favourites 🔥🔥

Hanabie formed in an all girls school. This is one of their early songs they performed Envy in highschool and it was on their demo tape. I'm not sure who the drummer is. That could be their producer. He's the drummer for a Japanese metalcore band. Their current drummer is Chika. Their original drummer quit in highschool to focus on school. Everyone else is an original member and is still in the band.

The drummer in the video (and at the time of recording the song) is Boa - their second high school drummer. He is not however the guy who gets slapped in the face in the video - that's an actor/friend of theirs.

Hanabie = Harajukucore = 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Envy is from their first EP “Cherry Blossoms Are Blooming” from 2018 and is structured - and has a guitar solo… unlike 95% of their songs, which are total chaos in the same way a classical piece might be. “We Love Sweets” is their calling card but everything they do is just pure gold. They have two albums as well, “Girl’s Reform Manifest” and “Reborn Superstar” along with a couple of covers (which they owned) and a couple of orphan singles. You cannot go wrong if this catches your attention. Their next two drummers, Sae and Chika, are cuter than this one. 😜 He is an awesome drummer though.

I love how the Maximum The Hormone influences are so obvious in their earlier songs and led them to their unique style of today.

Hey, pretty cool that you decided to check out the oldest MV on their channel first. Hard and heavy is the name of the game with Hanabie. This is not yet harajuku-core, rather the more straightforward death metal/hardcore punk mashup they used to play in high school. After they grow out of their teens their songs get somewhat less angry and less Engrish-y. They do get crazier tho. Like a lot lol When this band unleashes on a stage it's always a sight to behold. Surreal af...

Technically Time Out would be the oldest, but Hanabie took it down a few years back, cause they thought it's too amateurish (which it kinda is). You can still find other uploads online though.

Welcome to Harajuku-core! Hanabie (Ha-na-be-eh) refer to their particular style as Harajukucore, named after the Harajuku district, that inspires their look and music. Harajuku is famous for its fashion, shops, music, and art scene. Harajukucore is an energetic mix of metal, electronic, rock, punk, rap, pop, and even traditional Japanese instruments. The members are Matsuri - guitar, vocals, compositions. Yukina - growls/clean vocals. Hettsu - bass, backing vocals. Chika - drums. Here's a few song recommendations for you - 'We Love Sweets', 'Be the GAL - early summer ver.', 'NEET GAME', 'Otaku Lovely Densetsu', 'Reiwa Dating Apps Generation', 'Tousou' (run away). Thanks for checking out this amazing band!
@Glynthepin6 ай бұрын
Yes, this is Hanabie's style. It has the name: Harajukucore. A mix of the words Harajuku, which is an area in Tokyo, Japan. Young people hang out and dress up in many different fashion styles and also Cosplay. So you mix Harajuku style with Metal core music, to get the name Harajukucore. Hope that makes sense. Yukina the lead singer is not a lady to mess with. In other videos she throttles her boss and stabs a love cheat, in the eye! She looks so cute, you can't believe the sound she produces. There are many 'fan cams' of Hanabie live on KZbin. They are not particularly good as either the audio suffers or the video is not really watchable. They do prove just how strong Yukina's voice is though and the other ladies in the band can all play live to an amazing level. Their shows are absolute chaos and as for being in a pit, you need to be young and brave!
