Michał represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Color of your life" in 2016, he was also a juror in Voice od Poland and sang with other jurors song "All for one" that you reacted to :-)

So you finally discivered Michał Szpak :) I must say I like him, for me he is better than Dawid Podsiadło. And he is brave enough in Poland that is very monocultural yo be different and to look different. Please react to some of his songs. I am thankful for your reactions to Polish music, please go on :) As always I miss terribly our evening meetings, I loved them. Karolina PS I almost forgot - some trivia about this song - please where the flash mob was recorded is Kraków. This city (located on the south of Poland) was our second capital before Warsaw. Trumpet player in this song plays from the tower od Saint Mary's church (Kościół Mariacki), very famous and old church. In Kraków trumper player plays every hour from the church very special and old melody (called Hejnał) that is cut in the end. There is a legend about origin of this custom - this melody was played by the guard on the watchtower in 14th centiury as a warning signal when Tatars were attacking the city. One of the Tatars shot the guard with an arrow in the throat. Guard died and melody stopped, that's why it is played cut in the end. Tatars attacts were the real event, they burnt down Kraków with their fiery arrows (Kraków was built aout of wood then). Later our king Kazimierz Wielki (Kazimierz the Great) rebilt it with bricks it it will not be burnt again. Karolina
