What is more amazing is his life story. When he was a child, his dad went to prison and then his mom abandoned him. So he gre up in the streets of manila and he said that he feels sad he wouls sing to make himself happy. When he became an adult, he wanted to find his parents who abandoned him. He had the idea of joining the talent show "The Philippines got Talent" with the main purpose of finding his parents. As a contestant in the show, there became a nationwide search for his parents. In the show's finale, he found his parents who,attended the show on which he won. Now that he is famous, he remains a very humble man.

Marcelito is a gift from God. He sings in two registers, Tenor & Counter Tenor. In two languages English & Italian / word placement is completely different between them. Neither language is his first. His Italian is very good, it's better than some of my relatives. I have also heard him sing in Spanish, German. French, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.

Not bad for a guy that was abandoned on the streets in the Philippines when he was 7. Did odd jobs for a dollar a day for food and slept in alley's. He never had singing lessons...He taught himself to sing to help deal with living on the streets and feeling unwanted by his family. Now look at him-- Singing on a moving bus radio station while sitting at a mic and singing in two languages he doesn't speak ( English and Italian ) VOICE OF AN ANGEL 😍

He has never had any vocals lessons - all God gifted talent and lots of practice. He had a rough childhood also - he was living on the streets of the Phillipines by the age of 7. He reset bowling pins for $1 a day to buy food and slept by himself on the streets at night. His mother left him at age 2 and his dad was in jail. The authorities put him in jail with his dad for awhile and a guard adopted him but at 7 he found out the guard wasn't his father so he left and started looking for his family. At age 24 he entered Phillipines Got Talent and he won! His family was in the audience when he won. He is married now and has 2 children. He is so awesome and has an awesome talent. I have seen him in concert last year in NC. He is not on his 2d tour this year of the US now.

Can I suggest another amazing talent from The Philippines called 4th Impact. They are 4 sisters with amazing harmonies. They are the best girl group today that you have probably never heard of.
