Britney Slays said in interview that Corona pandemic came the worst time for them. They had 2020 summer booked to perform in Wacken, where Nightwish also did gigs in 2013 as headliner and 2018 daytime concert. I feel so bad for this band.

Ever since the Pisces reaction trend on YT, I feel like UTA has benefitted so much additionally. Britney and UTA deserve so much more attention. Their compositions are masterful and lyrically genius. As far as Unleash The Archers songs go. Ten Thousand Against One, Legacy, or Faster Than Light. But honestly you can't go wrong with any of their songs.

Here's a vague breakdown to give you a bit of context behind this songs lyrics and the album it's from - Apex(2017). This is a concept album telling a story track by track about an Immortal being. This is the opening song on the album. It is sung from the Immortals perspective(not all the tracks are), about being awoken in his mountain hollow from a 1000 year sleep. As a covenant of birth, the immortal must do the bidding of whoever awakens him. As the tracks progress, you find out that The Matriarch(which is played by the male vocalist in this song Awakening) was the one to awaken him. She wants him to find her four sons, so she can kill them and perform a blood ritual to gain immortality for herself(pretty dark haha), and his journey to find them. Each son has their own song about them on the album. The closing song Apex, is about the immortal going back to sleep in his mountain and it is a phenomenally written song. Their new album which came out in August, is a continuation of this story, and the immortal has awoken on a spaceship confused as hell wondering where tf his mountain is lol from the single Abyss. I won't go into the rest of the album. I highly recommend Tonight We Ride, Test Your Metal, Time Stands Still from their 2015 album Time Stands Still. These three songs are probably her most intense vocals. For anything from The Immortal storyline you can pick anything off the Apex 2017 album or the Abyss 2020 album(which won the Canadian Juno's for best hard rock/heavy metal album of the year for 2020) and you will not be disappointed

These guys are so creatively and technically brilliant, it staggers the imagination. This song is a masterclass in power metal. As with Nightwish, everything that UTA does is brilliant. Cool to see you getting into these kinds of metal bands with female singers. It's my favorite style of music. There are so many great bands doing different things, taking unique approaches. You might like Amaranthe, they are more catchy, while also heavy. Great singer, Elise Ryd. Maybe check out their song The Nexus. Also consider a band called Dark Sarah, they are more theatrical. Dance With The Dragon is a great song and video by Dark Sarah. More bands to look up: Epica, Delain, Edenbridge, Xandria, Within Temptation, Amberian Dawn.. there's just so many good bands doing this style!

You should check out Tonight We Ride by Unleash The Archers. Actually you should do what I did and instantly buy their albums Apex and Abyss and sit down with a nice drink in one hand and the lyrics sheet in the other and listen to them back to back because it is one single story spanning both albums, beginning with this song, Awakening. But that's not feasible for a react channel but anyone else reading this definitely should (I guess Spotify works also but putting those records on the turntable really makes it more of a special event)

For more Unleash the Archers, I'd recommend Tonight We Ride (how high can Brittney belt?!), Abyss, Faster Than Light (both of these have really fun videos), General of the Dark Army and Apex. For a bit of gothic metal, try Blackbriar - Arms of the Ocean or Beautiful Delerium. For more power metal, pretty much anything by Blind Guardian (but there's a live video of two of their songs - the Bard's Song and Valhalla - that's particularly special), or Powerwolf - Armata Strigoi.

Amazing, just watched your nightwish reactions and now UTA and all i gotta say is that you just got a new suscriber! Really love your energy and how you react, you really seems to enjoy what you're listening too, but not overdoing it. YES!!! ... Ahem. One of my favorite songs from them, from my favorite album by them. Apex was pretty much perfect all the way through for me, and though their newest album Abyss had numerous A-class songs; my favorites be Abyss and Faster than light, two songs really kicked me in the balls, in a negative way; Through stars and Carry the flame. They were too 80s classic heavy metal ballad-ish for my taste. I like speed in this kind of music. That said though, Abyss is very, very good album and except those two tracks I absolutely love it. Apex just is better with no weak points. Loving your videos and keep'em coming! Easier for me to follow YT than Twitch, so I'm more biased to content here. Heh.
