Fun fact: Brittany was recruited to a choir/choral group in college/uni at least partially for the DEPTH of her range. That's right, she sang alto. And now she does this. Brittany really Slayes.

Choir is a funny thing, because alto is not really a vocal type. Contralto is, so even though she saying I’ll tell it doesn’t mean that she was a contralto. Is there somebody that can sing low enough notes and to not be a soprano. You could easily be a low mezzo soprano and have done alto in your choir.

Well that was an eye/ear opener. Yet again you have introduced me to Another soon to be favorite band. That was an epically driven piece of musical mastery. I was truly moved by the combination what was almost a vocal whistle and "demon growl". It's probably just me but I had tears running down my cheeks during parts of that song.(pure joy) Night wish came to mind, Floor has had the same affect among a couple others. Julia, it's so good to see you back. You look happy and healthy, and thank you and our Julia army for this review. Cheers from Oz to everyone.

There are videos of Brittney singing this on stage. Of course the overall effect is different from a music video recorded in a studio but, damn, she hit's those notes consistently again and again, all while moving around on stage and engaging the audience. And, of course, that's just one song out of an entire set. So impressive!

Such a killer group. I love your smile when the Mad Max vehicles appear. The speed riffs on the guitars are insane. I'm hyperventilating listening to this. Such a goose! So fun!

Oh YEAH! I cranked this up to 11 ! It's like a full on frontal assault on your ears. Man I love this band :-). There's really no bad choices, but it does help to do some of them in certain order for sure, as many have mentioned before. I really like Time Stands Still. Her layering is key to a lot of their music and having 2 other talented vocalists helps fill up that bandwidth for sure. Her belts though.....maaaan I dont know if even Floor belts as well as Brittney, and I hate saying that. Thanks a ton for getting to this one :-) P.S. One never forgets a reactors first time doing Ghost Love Score, with your two references in one there with Furiosa and LoTR ;-)

Hi Julia!! I have been a subscriber for quite a while, but I have never commented on a video before. I thought you had a great reaction to Man of Constant Sorrow and to Johnny Cash’s Hurt (I’m not crying, I’m not!) I am especially fond of Unleash the Archers though, so I suppose it is fitting that this is the first time I comment. I first discovered them through Chase’s channel and through Chase’s channel eventually found you, Tank, and Elizabeth as well. All of you have enriched my diversity bands I listen to and knowledge of music in general. I love love LOVE how you call on “Editing Julia” for assistance!! Your videos are fun, informative, genuine, and articulate. I call UTA’s material “Subtle Genius” The mad max vibe was perfect for this song!! So Mad Max is known for not just the costumes and vehicles (which UTA TOALLY nailed btw), but also for being high energy from opening scene through the entire film to the ending credits. I feel like Tonight we Ride echo’s this and just has insane energy right from the first notes to the very end. Tank caught something like this on his viewing of “Wind that Shapes the Land” by them as well. Did they do that on purpose?? Yea… I think they did that on purpose!! 2 Final things. It can be hard to compliment people on appearance these days without backlash. I’m going to do it anyway. Your hair in this video was beautiful.. like breath takingly so. You tilted your head at some point and your hair just shimmered. I thought… “mmm shampoo companies should be fighting over you to do ads for them” Congrats on 150k subs.. well 187k subs now you’re killing it : )

If you like their songcraft, Julia, you might like listening straight through either/both of their concept albums (Apex and Abyss) on your own, not for a reaction. Nicely crafted songs and story arcs, IMO, plus the usual UTA level of musicianship.

@@christopherscottdempwolf5759 I've got one of those, too. Someone on the UTA Disscord made it on Spotify and shared it. I could listen to it a the way through everyday.

When I first discovered UtA a while back (Charismatic Voice reaction to Awakening) and then heard that Apex and Abyss was all one story I purposely avoided listening to too much more from those albums until I had them both in my vinyl collection and was able to sit down with a glass of nice rum in one hand and the lyrics sheet in the other... Best musical decision ever 😊👍

Julia.."this will end up a 45 minute long video".. Me "You say that like its a bad thing???". The face you made at 7:50 I about choked on my coffee. Love your metal reactions, ( have yet to see you make a bad video regardless of the genre) but the metal ones are my favorite. I am almost convinced Brittany is a Valkyrie no creature born of mortal parents can make those sounds. Delightful as always, not sure what you have done to your hair but it shines like a new copper penny. For those of us who have a weakness for redheads (Me!) this is a good thing.

Love your (and Caption Julia's) analysis! Would love to hear reactions from you to *Charlotte Wessels'* work, both with *Delain* , and as a recent solo artist. She's a brilliant vocalist and performer. For Delain, I'd suggest *"Burning Bridges"* and *"Here Come the Vultures"* ; for solo, I'd suggest *"Superhuman"* and *"Soft Revolution"* .
