"DanMachi" is a shortened version of this anime's full title, whose kanji translates to "Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?" The anime itself is a fantasy action comedy, 12 episodes long, where adventurers who are members of the familia of one god or another fight monsters for a living. DanMachi has the stats and leveling system of an MMORPG, but it's not a game for our characters like in SAO, it's their actual life. Enter our center protagonist, Bell Cranel, the only member in the familia of the goddess Hestia (the Gods in this anime come from every mythology you can think of Greek, Norse, Japanese, etc. and a few such as Hephaestus and Loki are genderbent). At the beginning he struggles to get by with his noob level stats and lack of friends, but over the course of the series we see him skyrocket through the ranks as he acquires new weapons, skills, and allies in true zero-to-hero fashion. SPOILER WARNING... The show has only two major flaws: One is we get only the briefest glimpses of a supposed main antagonist, for which a second season would do a great deal of justice. However the second problem is by far the most irredeemable; while understandable that zero-to-hero characters need to be able to rub people the right way or their personal growth would be for naught, Bell's level of charisma is simply absurd. Every single girl he interacts with falls in love with him for practically no reason whatsoever, making for a ridiculously large and unrealistic harem even by anime standards.

"anime standards" Really dude, in anime standards his harem is nothing, barely even making the cut to be called a harem, we have like 4 women interested in him, two of which are in love with him while the other two is debatable. There are other girls but at most they're only slight interested while in other anime every single one of the 6-14 girls in the harem want to fuck his brains out. Speaking of fucking his brains out, have you seen the abridged version of this? I found it quite hilarious and one of my favorite abridged series, not that I watch any.

It's a world that's based on RPG rules. All the gods have come down to live with humans. Bell is the "child" of Hestia, a goddess who has no family other than Bell (and it took her forever to find him) Bell wants to be an adventurer, and he goes to dungeon to level up. He's attacked by a Minotaur who has come to the first level because the group of adventurers showed in the clip let one escape when they were raiding the lower floors. The one woman, Aiz saved him. The small girl who is pleading for him to be saved is Lili, His supporter (She helps carry gear and cleans up the gems and drops so Bell can concentrate on fighting..) She has her own story arc too. The one lady who looked almost Orgasmic is another goddess who has taken an interest in Bell, and she set up the Minotaur he's fighting in this clip to be able to use a sword (One of her Family trained it) I don't want to give too much away. So I'm going to stop here. You should really check it out. It's English title is "Is it okay to pick up girls in a dungeon" It's a Harem anime is some points but doesn't over do the Harem aspects to ridiculousness.

This anime isnt a game but real life to the main character in the anime. But they have levels and each level decides what floors of the dungeon they can go to. Bell is lvl 2 and Aiz(the blond girl) is lvl 6

Is it not this kid who kind of lost everything but was able to get into a Familia with what is a dumbass most useless goddesses there is that and want Adventure he was almost killed by a Minotaur and the blonde girl saved him unfortunately he was covered in blood and that one kid with the gray hair called them tomato boy because of it but he fell in love with the girl that's blond and inspired to get enough strength to be by your side because of the dedication and the inspiration he received from it's a special skill was available for him which it's kind of like a cheating methods as long as he has a goal in mind and depending on how strong his devotion is to it allows him to become the stronger much faster to meet Set Go because his goal is to become stronger enough to stand beside her he's becoming stronger and faster at an alarming rate and became the first adventure to level up all his skills to level s and move up rank faster than any other beating the record of the girl he likes later on he read a grimoire a magical book which one sits read the constant within are erased it granted him the ability to use magic without casting a spell the book asked him what he considers strength power he thought of fire since the ability Firebolt later on he gets a different ability called hero shots which she calls the arguments basically the entire anime is about him becoming stronger so he can meet his goal but in the end of it the girl he likes ends up falling for him and as well as any other girl that's kind of seize him in action mainly because of his abilities his strength and how sincere he is everybody sees him with and enormous power and enormous potential except himself the reason why he's also so strong and has these abilities is because he is rumored to be the grandson or son of some God or demigod the girl that you saw zooming out of the eyeball was one of the goddesses which is kind of evil that doesn't really intrude not directly anyways she just wants to get to see something fun animal singing with his life is apparently fun for her to see what is his potential and that apparently is a turn-on for her
