Great vlog Andy. Thanks for showing us the cabins, I’ve always wondered what they are like, think it would be a bit too claustrophobic for me to stay in one though. Perhaps the wet floor was part of the “shark” or sea experience lol.. can’t wait to have a go on Hyperia, it looks awesome!!!

Great video, I've stayed in the cabins twice now and due to check in the Hyperia cabin in the near future. Never had an issue with the Room flooding to be honest. Booking in advance with my merlin pass saved me a fortune.

I don’t get the appeal of staying in one of the themed rooms !? They are double the price and are exactly the same size a standard room with just a few differences

@@Coaster_Crazyto be honest I only booked it for the Hyperia Fastrack as well as the themeing I've paid 125 quid for the night. I paid around the same price when I booked a standard cabin when I went in July. Will probably be my last trip to thorpe for the season too as I'll be off my feet in work from September onwards

Each time we head south for the parks, we always stay at Chessington. Far better than the cabins and cheaper also most of the time through merlin holiday club. Love the vlogs and content. Thank you.

The fast track is for the whole hour not just one ride you either pick 1st hour it's open or last and you ride what you can for the hour fast track BAR hyperia , the cabins are fab value and do what they need to after a busy day at the island Fab vlog as always Andy hopefully a better stay next time 😊

Oh well they never told me that and because I’d never stayed before I thought it was a fast track for one ride !! And thanks also I’d never stay there again, good job I used my Merlin annual pass otherwise it would have been £192 a night which is a complete rip off for a standard room in a shipping container

Ive stayed in the Thprpe Shark Cabins twice and it isnt too bad, i stayed in a normal room last year then i stayed in a Nemesis Inferno Themed room in July. We had to put a towel between the shower door to stop water flooding into the room! They do other ride themed rooms too as well as Nemesis Inferno rooms such as Colossus, Stealth, Hyperia and The Swarm that i booked to stay in for Fright Nights. Im hoping to stay in the Hyperia rooms next yeat as they look insane!

Why stay more than once and in different themed rooms ??? Makes no sense to me to pay extra to have a different vinyl on the wall because that’s all it is, other than that they are all the same rooms

Brilliant vlog Andy really enjoyed that and you was saying doing more of these theme park hotel reviews with the parks also if you check Blackpool and their hotels you can get free park tickets with your stay in any deluxe hotel room with can also include breakfast as well in the big blue hotel and the boulevard hotel only on Thursdays and Sundays

Well i wish I'd seen this before i booked 😮 flooding rooms and the lack of windows with the artificial light at night time really looked horrible. My partner and I are booked in for 2 nights from the end of septemeber, though to be fair we've only paid £150 for both nights. Cheaper than an airbnb but i found out today Hyperia wont be open when we come. Huge bummer. Its was the main reason we're visiting.

@@Coaster_Crazy yeah just the standard. The themed rooms jumped up hy £100. I couldn't justify spending that much more when they're essentially the same just with a different decal. Think I'm going to have to take a squigee with me to tackle the room flooding. It's bloody naughty that they haven't sorted that out to be honest!

Hi Andy. Hotel look standard nothing special. Just containers stacked up , I was thinking that the wet room would be a problem as most are , but the price with parking and 2 days park entry seems ok.was thinking it would be themed on sharks though.

Those Shark Cabins are definitely not for me. Too small and no windows apart from the door porthole. Shame you had problems with the shower flooding your cabin floor which spoilt your stay. All those spiders everywhere, horrible. They need to power wash everything and spray peppermint oil around all the spiders webs. It should be an annual routine or it will just get worst. 🕷🕸

@@Coaster_Crazy Yeah - discovered this a few years ago. Spiders don't like strong scented smells like peppermint, eucalyptus, citrus and vinegar as they smell using the ends of their legs (feet). So I get a trigger spray bottle and put 500ml of water mixed with about 5ml of peppermint essential oil and spray around the house where the critters can enter like windows, doors and room corners. On window sills outside, rub a lemon zest skin on the area. I think it works as I don't get as many but you do still get the odd one or two. Trial and error - I'll stop doing it if I think it doesn't work anymore.

That 'Hotel' is a joke. I would never stay there. Apart from the actual space you get, a container!! the flooding from a badly thought out bathroom is crazy. You should have had an apology and partial refund even if you did get a reduction on the cost when you booked it. As for the spiders, it will probably get worse as this year they say there will be many more about. 🕷️

The accommodation offering at Thorpe Park cabins is frankly embarrassing, paying anything to basically stay in a site cabin is pathetic. A proper Hotel like the other merlin parks not this makeshift effort. You certainly give me a fright when you woke up 😮😮 too much flesh on show mate😂😂
