If you're blowing fuses, that's an indication something in the circuit is drawing more amps than the wiring is rated for. You may have a short somewhere, or some device is malfunctioning. Replacing a blown fuse with a larger amp fuse is a dangerous idea. You could fry something in the circuit, melt the wiring, or cause an electrical fire. Be sure to put the proper size fuses in as soon as possible. If that size fuse keeps blowing, you need to start troubleshooting for electrical problems. Also, I love the truck and trailer, and I love your content. Keep it up, you're going places!

@Adam LZ Backing up with a trailer is simple! Keep your hand in one spot on the bottom of the steering wheel and don't go past 9:00 or 3:00. (3:33) never steer with the trailer while it sways....think of when youre on a swing. To get more momentum you kick back and forth...the trailer starts swaying and you steer with it to 'correct' it youre only giving it more momentum. Slow your speed, keep your steering straight and it will correct itself. If the trailer keeps swaying then you'll need to re adjust your load.

LeafyisBeefy not really. the only difference is drag. my trailer is heavier than the one he has. as he said, the truck kills it just stability which could come from the hitch he has. either way the 250 is plenty, only difference on 350 are bigger brakes and heavier springs which does not effect stability, only ride height of the truck

Adam, the main reason they leave such a gap in the front is for race teams like super late models and asphalt oval cars. Those cars have really long noses so when you combine that with all the other equipment up front (biggest one being tire racks, air compressors, etc..) the room actually gets pretty limited. We use a 36 foot trailer on our team and still find ourselves crowded at times.

One thing people could do if they plan on just jumping in like Adam did with a big truck and big trailer is spend $20 on one of the truck simulator games (Euro Truck Sim and American Truck Sim). Even if you don't like the game just playing it for like 5-10 hours total will help you with driving and reversing with a large trailer and truck, assuming you keep it in the first person view. And who knows you might end up liking the game like a bunch of streamers did when Farming Sim 2015 came out. Which also might help a little with maneuvering large vehicles. Still don't know why FS15 took over Twitch for a few weeks when it came out. Its a good game but not exactly your typical high popularity game.

As a Tire Tech, I have two quick tips for towing. Make sure you max out the trailer tires (read the sidewall of the tread carefully for a PSI number), and max out the rear truck tires as well! Both will have a max PSI written somewhere on the sidewall. That way you don't potentially damage/blow up a tire!

Adam, are you using the tow/haul mode. its a button somewhere on your dash. Also I agree with a lot of people bellow that you should get your trailer wrapped. Here’s a run down on Ford’s “Tow/Haul” mode when engaged: • Raises the shift point RPMs and internal trans shift pressures for a given engine load ƒ Maintains the ability to engage overdrive gear, but eliminates the possibility of engine lugging ƒ Controls shifting frequency to avoid shift hunting and unnecessary torque converter cycling • Engages the “coast clutch” and uses other internal trans clutch/band application strategies in order to achieve engine braking through all gears as the transmission coasts down.

it sucks you have to worry about thiefs, sadly a yamaha banshee i just finished rebuilding/putting the rest of my savings into was stolen out of my garage may 6th 2017. Im from ct, i knew a few ppl in one of your older vids from ct. wondering if i could send you a couple pics of the quad so you could give a breif shout out in a video. maybe talk about theft prevention options & help spread awareness. your following would really help get the word out & hopefully the quad would be seen or pop up somewhere. the situation really bummed me out, i wasnt feeling motivated to work on stuff in the garage. your videos have truly helped me motivate to get back in the garage doing what i love, keep up the great work man.

always run trailer tires 5 psi lower then posted psi on tires. driving long periods of time raises tore temp as you know and hot air expands.

Hey Adam, even with the 250 you want weight on the hitch. Can you get trailer scales over there ? They will help you load the trailer so your truck tows well. You will work it all out, always a bit of fun with new gear. A spares kit with globes,fuses etc is a good idea for the glovebox, I do with all my cars and it's got me out of the doodoo a few times

Hey Adam, when I watch you do big drops on your bike you make it look so easy but when I hit big hops I land really hard. I don't quite understand how you land so softly. If you could help me understand, I would be grateful.

212 Racing what would stop them from doing it if they thought a trailer would be Adam's? i mean the truck would probably be around the area. so i do think he should turn his trailer into a rolling billboard promoting his buisnesses, sponsors if he is approached by them and it will also keep the paint/coating of the trailer protected, im not saying he should convert it into a billboard but by just wrapping the whole exterior he could definitely bring more attention to his brand.

Adam, when you pull the truck up on ramps to get the car out I would take the stabilizer bars of the hitch. This would give the trailer little more articulation and put less stress on it. Same is true if you're trying to maneuver it around a tight parking lot.

Hi Adam id just thought id say that we tow a 35 foot long boat on a trailer that is exceptionally wide and high, so just remember that there is nothing to worry about, if an incident occurs stay calm. Also what helps most of the time is a warning light of some description. Preferably about 9 ORANGE LED STROBE LIGHT that will fit into your windshield- range from $20-$75 so if your looking for any or need anyone to help find a suitable light or light(s) please feel free to message or tag me (you probably wont see this but oh well aha) many thanks! P.S if you've got about 300 us dollars your can get a full light bar that will go on the top of your f250! it just helps to warn other drivers that you're a very long vehicle and to be cautious when passing or along side you! Have fun!

stop stressing so much about pulling the trailer it's your first time and just like with anything with practice it becomes second nature you'll be backing that thing up through the Wendy's drive-thru no time. you eventually work out all the Kinks and corks of loading it and Towing it'll be no big deal. don't be afraid to drive that thing bro the truck is made for towing and honestly you're not really pulling that much weight for a three-quarter ton H/D truck.
@chuckc63387 жыл бұрын
Don't use waze when you drive the trailer. Download Trucker Path - or something like it. It won't take you under any low bridges or sketchy back roads. I drove a 26' box truck all over the country for work. Worked great!!!

Hey adam, i just wanted to let you know that in most states, trucks with trailers have to stay in the right lane or in the right two lanes if there are more then two lanes. Hope you're having a fun time in your new truck and trailer!
