The wolverine look alike is Ben Turner aka Bronze Tiger. He was portrayed by Michael Jai White, who also played Gambol in The Dark Knight and S.E.T.H. in Universal Soldier: The Return. Season 2 has a good Big Bad. Oh and in the comics Slade Wilson is Deathstroke a badass on the Warlord level of Batman. As for the "City District Alderman" (An alderman is a member of a municipal assembly or council in many jurisdictions founded upon English law.) In the comics "Sebastian Blood" has lots of versions involveing magic and being a cult leader.
