The reason Gabi and Falco are so different in their views despite growing up in the same place is because of their families. Falco's family was a part of the Restorationists, so they obviously aren't as affected and don't believe in Marleyan propaganda. Just look at Colt. He doesn't like Marley very much or really concerns himself with any of the politics, he just wants to protect his family. While Gabi grew up in a family that obviously a lot more indoctrinated. When Kaya confronted her with facts, Gabi started parroting what she was taught because she knows that if the Eldians on Paradis are actually good people, then all of her hate and her own suffering will be for absolutely nothing, and everything she was ever taught would have been a lie.

I love the writing choices to have the family of the girl Gabi killed be the ones to show her that the people of Paradis are capable of kindness and compassion, and Kaya, who was saved by Sasha, being the one to open her eyes to a lot of things Marley was lying to Gabi about.

Yes, during a scene in Season 3, we learned what was going on with young Mikasa in the cabin in the woods. This is the awakening of the dormant power within the Ackerman's bloodline, upon which they gain almost superhuman abilities. According to Levi during that scene, the same surge of power also happened to him and Kenny.

What you were saying about Mikasa, who as a child in the cabin suddenly got that strength and speed, as if from nowhere. There is an explanation that was given in the chapters of Kenny Ackerman. The Ackerman are a unique clan within the "Eldians" that have 2 peculiarities. The first peculiarity is that their minds are resistant to the power of the founding titan, and they resist his brainwashing. The second peculiarity is that at a certain point in their lives they awaken their "survival instinct", which makes them much stronger than the rest of the Eldians. That explains why Kenny, Levi and Mikasa are the strongest warriors. Both Levi and Mikasa had a conversation in which they talked about this fact. They talked about how each one experienced that "awakening of the strength of the Ackerman clan". Kind regards!

the reason eren had titan marks under his eyes is because he escaped from prison off screen. the premier blowing up was a separate thing from a bomb planted in his torture chair.

The main distinction between the story told here and real life is that there's complete separation between the island and the mainland. There was even a guarantee from the Eldian king that they wouldn't ever harm Marleyans again. They even literally forgot about their entire history, while leaving behind some Eldians who effectively acted as slaves and weaons of mass destruction for Marley's benefit. Ironically those Eldians ended up being the ones who were held accountable for their ancestors crimes. In real life, past atrocities have had a long-standing effect on the people whose ancestors suffered, with social issues and ills aplenty. So, it's obvious that you can't go blaming people for their ancestors crimes, but it's also true that you can't ignore the social issues that continue to exist in the present as a result of those past crimes.

Since y’all are reacting to anime now, I’d love for you to watch studio ghibli movies, I can assure you that you that they are incredible. These 2 episodes though... somebody turn the heat off because it's coming to a boil. Jaegerists aren't screwing around. There's like many different sides to this conflict. There's different sides just in Paradis. Reiner was right to think now is the best time to counter-attack.

All I'm saying because I don't want to spoil anything is: next episode is SUPER IMPORTANT to the entire theme of the story. What I advise anyone watching this series is always: "The show's conscience are Hange and Armin" They waver sometimes, but usually their way of looking at things is what the writer wants you to feel. Think back to previous seasons, Eren was hot-headed, and other people sometimes made of some really impulsive decisions, but usually Armin and Hange were right on the money. There's another character that you'll be able to add as another conscience of the show but that doesn't come into play for now.

This whole part makes me wonder, had Erwin been alive, would the military be this divided? I love Hange, but she's clearly not cut out to be a leader, and I was on team revive Armin all the way, but whenever I rewatch this part, I can't help but think about how things would've played out for our people had Erwin been alive.

Eren was at the edge of the island when he met with the Yaegerists. How do you suppose he reached there? He transformed to run in titan form after escaping the walls. Yeah the show doesnt explicitly explain that but thats what happened. The Premier was killed solely by the followers in protest not Eren. Guys this show has a lot of self-implied detail too which you are supposed to understand.
