Given what Archer is about and what he wants the price, or interest rate, paid for the arm also makes a lot of sense. It's a funny headcanon to imagine that Archer gifted his arm with two intents. Give Shirou a chance to fix this mess and also to ultimately kill him by his own hand. Literally this time. I am 99% sure he didn't intend for the latter but that 1% tells me he's crooked enough to do it.

1:56:19 He's basically betraying himself and the whole idea of being a "Hero of Justice" by saving Sakura instead of avenging all those people that got killed. He has now being "selfish" for the first time, choosing someone precious to him instead of "the greater good". This is also what Archer noticed, so he decided to leave him alone this time.

This. Only way Shirou wouldn't end up being archer and bitter is him being selfish and stop putting all others before himself all the time. This is the only on three routes where is it pretty sure Shiro won't end up as archer. In UBW route is also possible for this to happen, because Rin would keep him in check.

He is not doing it "for greater good" in UBW, he knows it's impossible, but just as Kirei said in HF, helping people makes Shirou happy and he wants to know how far he can go with it. Not because of others, but for himself. When Gil called Shirou fraud and hypocrite, Shirou agreed) In Fate route he just hopes to see Saber again (spoiler: he will find her)

The worst part is that you're not getting Sakura's inner dialogue during the scene she's eating Gilgamesh. After he turns her into a pin cushion, Angry Mango starts gaslighting her, telling her that if she dies then Rin will move in and steal Shirou from her. That's what makes her wig out and eat Gil and like half the city. No I'm not joking as this is in the VN.

Even though action in Jujutsu Kaisen is incredible, the berserker vs saber fight for me tops almost any fight in anime. The animation and choreography is just absolutely stellar.

I agree that the animation is great. I just don't like how the anime adaptations keep downplaying Berserker. In the UBW anime, they made Artoria kill him in their first encounter, and in this movie, they made her take him out almost singehandedly. In the visual novel, he already seemed a bit underpowered, but the ufotable adaptations worsen the problem.

@@wulf8889The anime fights are longer for the sake of spectacle, but Berserker is portrayed as being weaker than he was in the VN. In the UBW anime, Saber is able to hurt him with her regular attacks, pushes him back with her mana burst, and even takes off one of his lives. That never happened in the VN. At that point in the story, Saber stands no chance against him. In HF, he lost a lot harder in the anime. In the VN, it took a combination of Saber Alter, the Shadow, and True Assassin teaming up on him to beat him. And unlike in the anime, the Shadow held him down almost the entire time. Both of these instances were done for the sake of wanking Saber, at the cost of Berserker. It's one of the reasons why the VN is much better. Though, was a single time in the VN where I think his power was underplayed.

@@FieryMeltman Be thankful that's only the change they made because Nasu himself suggested to change the NPs completely. Also, she used a mini Excaliblast laserbeam+Strike Air to take one of his life which to take one the Rank of the NPntakes precedent. Watch it again. In the VN HF, it was shorter. The whole point is that Saber, even if she's slower than normal Saber and lower instinct, will win over Berserker due to her dragon core mana output and now that she has essentially unlimited mana. The shadows tentacle interference was just inconvenience and nothing more let alone lol Assassin lol. Berserker can't even harm her due to her Mana Burst surrounding her at 100% all the time. Be thankful that they are longer fights.

Notice that Zouken once called Sakura as "Matou's Holy Grail", and so far we knew that the Holy Grail needs Einzbern flesh to materialize. So in order to create Matou own Grail, Zouken "molded" Sakura into a variation of Einzbern (hence the white hair & red eyes like Einzbern hommunculus when she transformed) since she was still a child.

To answer your questions Regular Saber doesn't fight like that because she doesn't have access to endless magic energy like the one in Heavens Feel. She's also a lot more careful to avoid collateral damage. Rider isn't directly acting on the stuff going on because Sakura ordered her to silently protect Shirou with a command spell, that's why she wasn't around when Gilgamesh attacked her, nor did she went for Zouken's head (he wasn't a threat to Shirou at that time since he invited him just to talk). The whole betrayal thing is how Shirou is betraying the ideal of Kiritsugu and his future self EMIYA(Archer) by protecting Sakura instead of choosing to kill her to save the people of Fuyuki. Extra info: EVERYONE is disgusted by Zouken, even Assassin and Zouken himself. They have a discussion after Zouken kills and eats an innocent woman who just happened to be at the wrong place and he admits his rotten existence is disgusting but irrelevant, his objective of attaining true immortality justifies what he does. This really makes you question how someone can become so twisted, especially when you see how he used to look in the flashback and what his wish was in his younger days.

In VN you can choose to kill Sakura. After that Kirei will say that nothing will stop Shirou from winning War. At this point Shirou quite literally will be Kiritsugu 2.0 in terms of mindset

As side note, I really love visual novel for all those "bad endings". I mean there was LOTS of those and while some of them were easy to avoid, some were not. My favorite was in fate route if you were shithead to Saber, then she actually killed Shirou when Kirei tempted her with grail. 🤣 It was also fun to collect all those bad endings.

@@piaxerofchaos1309 40 bad endings (or just endings) for all 3 routes to be precise. Also, IIRC you need to get all of them with good and normal ones to unlock final episode in Realta Nua, which is sort of True True Ending to FSN (Avalon)

I really pray that the Tsukihime remake anime be an Ufotable project, they are so utterly good at bringing TM stuff to life it is almost unbelievable. The fact that you can clearly see that they have meticulously adapted small details from the original VN like Saber Alter's Excalibur being black lightning and fire instead of just dark colored light and how she is a lot less mobile with the heavy black armor but totally abuses Mana Burst is proof that they actually did their homework (unlike whatever the fuck the Fate Apocrypha staff did).

Berserker vs Salter is top 2 all time anime fight with the other being in the 3rd movie. Heavens Feel could arguably fill the majority of a top 10 all time anime fight list. As for Gilgamesh, he got what he deserved for what he did to Illya in UBW.

I was waiting for you to learn that Sakura is Rider's master to say this. Fun fact: The dream Shirou had on the first movie was more of an ilusion rather than a dream made by Rider who needed mana and demostrated why she is in the rider class Fun fact #2: Salter (Saber Alter) is actually weaker than regular Saber , she simply has infinite mana because of the shadow, while Saber had almost no mana because of shirou

To that one chatter the ending for fate zero is litterly in the name we are suppose to know it ends in tragedy even the cast says it, its a prequel i personaly think fate zero spoiling that there is something wrong with sakura and the realtions much worse then knowing, Somethign cague happend happend at the end of the fate zero cause they always talk around it that there was fire and that kiritsugu "won" we still dont knw how and why but knowing about sakura nor only makes you sus of her since the starts but you also know there is something darker goijng on and dont care for twists in heavens feel because of that Also Ed and people in general treating these sakura being horny scenes are just "sussy" scenes instead of looking deeper into it is simply tragic. As overpowered as this "evil Saber" (Saber Alter) seems, her original self is actually more powerful, if only she had enough mana. What makes Alter so powerful is her constantly having all the mana she needs to burn, unlike normal Saber who has... Shirou. They also nerfed Saber in Zero, as Saber easily soloing the entire war and being untouchable, save for Gil, wouldn't make for a good anime. But Saber Alter VS regular Saber at max power, regular Saber beats her easy.

But as a Saber fan i gotta say it dosnt really matter how saber is at full power because they never show that, everytime she litterly gets beaten by litteral whos at every step, you cant hype up and servant then make that servant lose at every step. In this movie you saber the knight class lose to assasin without even landing a blow in ubw you had her lose to Kuzuki enchanced with magic a regular human and getting slapped around like a doll. There isnt a single point in entrie fate verse where Saber does something impressive even in her dont sleep on saber video defending her, her lose to Gil is mentioned. In ubw she has a proper master and yet even after breaking the curse on her she does litterly nothing and gets blitzed by Gil wtih ease.

Artoria Alter vs Heracles is basically what realistically would happens if OG Artoria had any other Master that can provide Mana other than Shirou. Heracles would put up a fight, until Artoria starts blasting everything to pieces and then lost the moment Excalibur is fired. And saying Salter got unfair Advantage from "Infinite Mana" Is hypocritical since Heracles has a Holy Grail for a Master. Just not a Skill to optimize that abundance other than replenishing lost Lives

1:08:35 lemme explain this explosions are caused by the skill mana burst which takes ALOT of mana when shirou is her master he cant provide enough mana for her to use it consistently for example in the fate route(2006 anime which you skipped) after using excalibur 1 time earlier in the route saber almost vanished they had to do complicated stuff just for her to be able to walk shes always low on mana she does get the neccesery amounts of mana but its a 2006 anime so its not really shown cause its 2006 in the UBW route while she does have the neccesery mana after rin became her master there was no one to really use it on she didnt want to fight archer and using a mana burst would blow up everyone in the vacinity like shirou and rin she didnt fight sasaki with it cause it was a battle of skill basically this is the first time saber is allowed to fight at full power

@@BekindBekbek Sabers fighting style relies heavily on mana burst. Its just the matter of output. Her style is practically extreme brute force of mana burst guided by Instinct to make the best possible moves.
