first time watching *HORROR IN THE HIGH DESERT* reaction

There IS a sequel - 'Horror in the High Desert 2: Minerva' (2023). I haven't seen it yet, but hopefully soon. Have you seen the found footage movie released this year called 'Frogman'? It's a total return to form for this genre, but it gets very weird, in a good way. It was fun and freaky. Thank you for the reaction!

I am SO happy that you watched this one! My friend and I loved this movie. That warbling wail you can hear around the shack is so damn creepy. There is a sequel called Horror in the High Desert: Minerva, which was also good, and there is another sequel that will hopefully be releasing later this year called Horror in the High Desert: Firewatch. Another found footage movie in a similar vein (though much weirder) that you might enjoy is The Outwaters. And then other good found footage horror film suggestions I can make are: The Conspiracy, Resurrected, Older Gods, Digging Up the Marrow, Savageland, Final Prayer (aka The Borderlands; British), Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum (Korean; similar to Grave Encounters, which is also fantastic if you haven't seen it), and Incantation (Taiwanese). (Found footage is my favorite horror genre. 😁)

Poor Gary tho😢 Not sure if you've seen Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum (2018), but I'd highly recommend it. It's a Korean influencer, live feed found footage film. I definitely think it'd be up your alley.
