Lance Reddick was so great as Charon. I think, before his sudden death, he did reprise his role in the upcoming John Wick spin off movie "Ballerina" which is now in post production. The John Wick unverse won't be the same without him. R.I.P.

Idk what's on the schedule next but any chance of some well-known comedies getting watched? Feels like we don't laugh enough with so many action flicks despite their quality. Maybe Spaceballs or something of that level. Thanks! RIP Lance Reddick!

The general consensus is that Ruby Rose was pointless in this movie. It was a reasonable ending, she fights John for less than 10 seconds and dies. That was fairly correct in my opinion. You will meet some new people in JW3. Great reaction and be well. 😄

I love how the franchise makes John as mythical as the actual boogeyman. He only let's you see him stepping out of the shadows, when he shot the big goon he shot in the knees at the beginning, the yelling he makes sounds like the monster they John out to be. Then the foot steps while he was growling. Survivors will say that John growled and moved in the shadows like a monster. John Wick 1 was awesome, chapter 2 was not as awesome, but total great, chapter 3 was outstanding, chapter 4 was OUT OF THIS WORLD.

In John Wick lore, John is Belarusian, and his root hand to hand combat training was in the Russian martial art of sambo. In Russian: "са́мбо." The name is an abreviation of "САМозащита Без Оружия" (SAMozashchita Bez Oruzhiya) which translates as "self-defense without weapons." Because of the martial arts backgrounds of two of its founders, Viktor Spiridonov and Vasili Oshchepkov, sambo draws a lot of its techniques from jiu jitsu and judo. In the early 1970s, Russian judoka who were also trained in sport sambo broke Japan's dominance in international judo competition.
