What I liked about Ruby was that she had a personality all on her own. She wasn’t just about the guy. She had friends, strong family bonds, goals,etc. She also wasn’t this perfect character. She has some bite. She pushed back.

I'm Swedish and I grew up watching stuff in different languages and I just have never ever been able to watch dubs unless its animated stuff. Even the English subs were bothering me a bit because some German words are very similar to Swedish and the English subs weren't a good enough translation at times I felt.

I *love* ETL trope, but it often is very cringe in shows/movies. Didn’t feel like that with this show though. So well acted and filmed, hits all the right tropes, soundtrack is excellent too.. Really nice surprise. 😊

The school is Schloss Marienburg, its near Hannover in LowerSaxony, i live and go to uni „relatively close“ to it, its really pretty but i think it’s currently under construction or at least used to be
