About the mermaid AND the sailor, When they are capturing the mermaids, sailors said that if a mermaid kisses you, you can't drawn. In that scene when Sarina kisses the sailor (forgot his name😢) she saves him by taking him away after their kiss. What happend to him?...well, still unknown. But probably they lived together. Or at least thats what its thought about it

5:45 Before Pirates were Pirates the Kings used to hire Privateers to basically be a Pirate but only against non-citizen ships. It's not out of character to have a royal hire a Pirate. Kinda like how Politicians and Lawyers steal from everyone secretly now, except back then it was more in your face.

This was the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie that I saw in theaters, it's a good memory and the theater experience was really good. It had been some time between At Worlds End and this movie, so everyone was really excited. I've heard a lot of people giving this movie some shit, but in all honesty I really enjoy it. It was a good "spin-off" you could say, and it's much better than the newest one in my opinion. I liked this Blackbeard, not as much as Assassin's Creeds Blackbeard or the one in the series Sails, but still good. I would have wanted another sequel to this movie instead of Dead Man Tell No Tales, and Blackbeard surviving would have been a much more exciting thing.

I kind of view the other two movies (stranger tides and deadman tell no tales)as a spinoff sequel to the three Pirates of the Caribbean movies since the third one did kind of feel like a wrap up. if I was in charge of naming these last two movies I would’ve named them tales of Jack sparrow: forbidden sea and tales of Jack sparrow dead man’s revenge

Nah, Pirates 5 is much worse. The new leads are wholly uninteresting and Jack is a complete joke. At least here he’s competent and in-character, whereas in 5 he’s a bumbling Mr. Magoo who survives entirely on luck. The villain in 5 is also only marginally better than Blackbeard, and even then, it’s still up in the air for me. The ship battles is a point to dock for sure, but none of the ones in 5 are extensive enough to be satisfying. Besides, 2 hardly had a proper ship battle, and that one’s still amazing. It’s certainly a plus, but at the same time it’s not automatically a qualifier for quality. Besides, I actually quite like the mermaid attack and the action sequences in this film. The opening 30 minutes of this movie are better than anything from 5 imo.

It was Disney being greedy and wanting to make more money when they should've let the franchise be in peace like Jack Sparrow was being free from Davy Jones and Beckett and able to sail the seas at last

Normally I would agree because the trilogy is incredible. But I think that for this one the idea was good at the beginning. Following the journeys of Jack Sparrow and looking for other legendary treasures was a really interesting idea because, what was good was that it could still surprise us while keeping the almost "real" atmosphere of the first ones. BUT, the fifth movie.. yes we could really feel the Disney production and in a very bad bad BAD way. It is nothing more than the shadow of this license. However, the basic idea was still good and so were actors but.. 😮‍💨 Even though they were still very good, it wasn't brilliant.
