I think the reason some people have a weird grudge against these films is because it’s taken too seriously. He literally has a “rub salt in the wound” moment and tears that girl’s arm down the middle with his bare hands lol, it’s so over-the-top that it’s comedic.

If you didn’t fully understand the story with the pale little girl and Vicky at the end, here’s the breakdown. So art was resurrected by the demonic force that brings him back, taking form of the little pale girl. If you pay attention at the end when Vicky gives birth her eyes are now yellow like the little girl, signifying she is now possessed and the new vessel for art.

The biggest complaint that even fans had of this movie was the pacing, but the third act was so badass that I didn’t mind it. The third movie’s pacing was a lot better imo and the director said that the next 2 movies(yes there are gonna be 2 more movies) are gonna be shorter and straight to the point.

Fun. I just hope they drop the whole superhero badass girl. The best part about the 1st movie is that there was no last girl cliche. The "protagonist" got killed by a gun breaking most conventions. Then they jump to the other girl and she becomes a vessel for the demon, helping art. I hope art "wins" by the end like in the 1st. Just an unbeatable force that exists for Halloween and there isn't much anyone can do. Like an urban legend. I didn't like the 3rd one, I think It had the weakest plot. I mean I liked it but not as much as the first 2. But I liked how art is more brutal and more direct. Like when you think she will pull the sword and trick them, art just bashes her hands in with a hammer so she can't even open the package....just to go forward and use the sword like she didn't have every single bone broken in her hands. They overdid the badass heroine part for the 3rd one, even more than the 2nd one. I liked how the 1st one was way more realistic, how people reacted to the gore, pain and getting hit. Like how the hell do you hold a dangling 13 year old girl with all her weight, with a series while holding the blade?? And the girl was holding onto the handle? Do you know the grip strength you would need to hold off like that, from a vertical handle? And the holding the blade part, while having BROKEN HANDS, all bloody, is just.... Ridiculous. Holding around 50kg just from the friction of your hands on a blade, while it's slippery and with broken hands. That part just made no sense. Just remove those parts from the future movies, m ake it grittier and more realistic. Supernatural stuff is fine, just not the physical parts.

@ I don’t think they’re getting rid of the “final girl”. Damien Leone has said that Sienna is his favorite character he created and he made these movies cause he always had the idea for the movie with a warrior “final girl”. These movies wouldn’t have been made if it wasn’t for Sienna. Also the actress has mixed martial arts training so I have a feeling we’re gonna see her beat the ever loving shit outta Art in the next movie and I can’t wait.

You can actually find the crime scene photo of the poor victim in the Jack the Ripper wikipedia article... it's quite disturbing so discretion is advised... in fact several of the kills in the Terrifier movies are inspired by either historical execution methods (like the hacksaw scene from the previous movie), real crime cases (like the bedroom scene).

I think giving Art a supernatural aspect is unbelievably terrifying. In the short film Terrifier released back in 2011 Art pops up in the back seat of a girls Car while it is in motion and you saw him on the road before that. The fact that he is practically unstoppable and what he will do to you so unbelievably sacry. Freddy is creative but are is diabolically brutal and tortuous makes me rather scared or Art the Clown. Haven’t been scared of a villain in a long freakin time. I don’t want people to come into contact with Art it’s the first killer I don’t want too see Kill.
