Ryan Reynolds said that he and the makers purposely asked for a lower budget than Disney was prepared to offer them, remembering that the first Deadpool (2016) was such a success because they had constant time and budget limitations, which fostered an atmosphere for great creativity.
@zybchАй бұрын
He probably also knew that with a larger budget, Disney would have felt far more able to meddle than they ended up doing, 'protecting their investment' and all that guff. IMO lower budgets generally make for better movies. So much more time is spent on creating a good story rather than annoying effects and spectacle.

Seb, I really hope you saw Loki season 2 in your free time. Something I really appreciated about this movie was the opening credits. Deadpool 1 and 2 had the credits at the very end and I was never a fan of that, but this time they acknowledged everyone just like James Gunn did with the Guardians franchise. The quality took me by surprise because this is a Deadpool movie. Deadpool 1 and 2 were made to intentionally look like total CGI, but with the MCU involved they had to raise the bar. It paid off more than well. Also, I don’t think the MCU was necessarily at a low point except with Secret Invasion. Most of the projects they revealed after Endgame were pretty excellent. Guardians Volume 3 and Loki season 2 helped pick up the slack and more. What I was most excited for was for you to see Laura again. Dafne Keen was only 10-11 years old when she worked on Logan 2017 which was her big acting debut. Now she’s 19 and after all these years she still got it. Dafne had doubts as to whether she would be able to portray Laura again. Now that she’s back, she actually wants to reprise her role. Also, she’s still wearing the sunglasses from before. Before my sister and I went to see this movie on opening weekend, I joined for her first time watching Loki season 2. I especially wanted her to see Ke Huy Quan, and like me his character OB ended up being one of her favorites. The reactions paid off after seeing the new and improved TVA have a role. By the way, this is the second X-Men film to have Bye Bye Bye. The first one was X-Men 2. However, that’s not Ryan Reynolds in the suit. That was a pro dancer who needed to come up with the choreo as fast as he could.

25:30 -- Yeah, that's how he's supposed sound in the comics with a heavy Cajun accent (which is influenced by Louisiana French). In the animated series where Gambit appeared his accent was present but softened so as to be more easily understood by kids who might be watching. His primary power is the ability to instill kinetic charges into objects, potentially building up to massive explosions if taking a number of seconds/minutes, depending on the size/mass of the object. (He generally uses playing cards or similar very low-mass objects because he can empower them in less than a second and then toss them.) His secondary powers are a degree of enhanced-human agility/reflexes, enhanced stamina, vocal hypnosis (this is often left out in non-comicbook media) which can emotionally influence others (it's a moderate effect that works on many people but also many can resist it even without psychic defenses), and he has a moderate degree of resistance to psychic influences/effects (greater than found in non-psychics, but less than with many telepaths or similar beings).

Fun Fact: Channing Tatum who played The Gambit is also the same person who said “My Name Jeff.” in the Movie 22 Jump Street:D

Deadpool is a full trained black ops merc he is insanely good at fighting remember a few things: he is former Canadian special forces, he is also good enough at combat and able to switch between forms quick enough that taskmaster cannot keep up with him, and while he is usually the nucellar option in terms of mercenaries he is also quite capable of being stealthy if needed. Deadpool just dosent care if he gets hurt witch makes him really hard to fight. Also yes wolverine has a healing factor Wade also has one but he has cancer and in comics is cursed so that he cant be with death and is full immoral for a while. Wolverine can also die via drowning as the one time we saw him die with his factor was when he was coated in adamantium and they used it as his grave same with Deadpool the only difference is if he leaves a pinky finger somewhere it will grow into an entire new him

Channing's Gambit is exactly what I imagined when I used to read the comics. He is Cajun and that accent Tatum did was spot on. We need more of this Gambit yo

AVI ARAD ruined a lot of Marvel movies in the early 2000s Mainly... * Daredevil (2003) * The Punisher (2004) * Elektra (2005) * Fantastic Four (2005) * X-Men: The Last Stand * Spider-Man 3 And not to mention BORDERLANDS as well And now he's gonna ruin... * Borderlands * Kraven the Hunter * Venom: The Last Dance * The Legend of Zelda * Naruto As long Arad lives, there's no hope

What’s funny is that Chris wanted it to be in his contract that he could cuss that much since he didn’t get to cuss much if at all as Captain America 😆
