You might already know this, but Dolph Lundgren really is a darn genius. The series pokes fun at his character intentionally a lot because of it. His academic resume is beyond impressive.

What up C.I. Finally you've entered an action movie lover's dream come true. In the making since the 1990s and worth the wait. One of the hardest films that Stallone has ever performed in as an action star and filmmaker. This coming out after Rocky Balboa (2006) and Rambo 4 (2008) was unadulterated madness. Plus it was at Comic-Con, days before it was released. So many homages to the genre. Great chemistry between the actors. Unbelievable sequences. Brace yourself dude. This series is pure fire.

Arnold was Governor when he filmed this. Stallone did get hurt by Stone Cold Steve Austin. Loved the Terry Crews weapon. The matchups in the end were top notch, wrestler vs MMA fighter and couple martial artists against one mad bad guy martial artists and so on. Number 2 is better.

He actually plays a good guy in a lot of his movies. Of all the movies he's done only like 25% of them have him playing a bad guy. A majority of the movies he did in the late 80's to early 90's he usually played the good guy. He also had a short lived tv series called Saf3 (Safe). It only had 20 episodes but I thought it deserved more. He played the leader of a group of people from the Sea, Air, and Fire divisions of the Malibu Fire Department.

Terry has a story about this movie, during the production, the script constantly changed and he was angry at Stallone because his character was basically just there, not doing anything. He decided to do the bare minimum until he started thinking about himself and changed his way, doing everything he could. At one point Stallone noticed that Terry changed and decide to make a scene specially for him, it was the part in the tunnel where Terry's character was shredding through the soldier with his special gun.

3:50 - Not ALL his roles. Dolph has had some heroic roles. He-Man in "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" (if you dare to brave it) (1987), Frank Castle in "The Punisher" (1989), Det. Jack Caine in "I Come In Peace" (1990). (That last is listed as "Dark Angel" on his IMDb page.) 4:01 - Look at that. I answered before you asked. 😉 12:21 - You talking about their height, my mind immediately flashed back to junior high. First day of health class, we were supposed to write essays about ourselves. Really cute redhead, in all seriousness, wrote that she's 4'12". 🤣 20:31 - I was looking away when you said you forgot Cruz, and I'm like, "Tom Cruise was in this?!?" I are big brain. 😵‍💫 22:44 - That is a startlingly clean, shiny blade sticking out of his chest. Yeah, people complain about all of these low brow, physically impossible action movies, and I always wonder, "Then why did you watch it? Were you expecting Shakespeare? You must be the kind of person who goes to see 'Mortal Combat' for the Oscar-winning performances, right?" Dummies. And CI... You like the fights here? You should also watch "Reacher" on Amazon. Not as big, but pretty brutal.
