I loved Iris so much in this season, especially at 21:42 ! Although a lot of people dislike Iris and I have to agree with them in season 1 & 4, Iris was a great character in seasons 2 & 3 and that scene is definitely one of my favorites. Sadly, everyone forgets Iris saying that, they only remember Oliver and Jay telling Barry the same thing.

I checked and he's seen the episodes now so it's okay to say it. But it wasn't exactly hard to figure out who Savitar was. He said who was in this episode. But it's not expected everyone will get the hint on this episode. However when he tells them who he is again starts spouting not just future knowledge but past knowledge. The writers were not even trying to hide it. I remember one of the big after shows was convinced it was either Cobalt Blue or Ronnie. Then when they answered my comment they said it was highly unlikely because it too obvious.

Lmao, I also think it's pretty easy to grasp, but after watching a few "reveal" reactions I kinda assumed I caught it quicker than the average person because I was binging and not waiting for the next episode.

@@jackharty1 Spoiler tag even though I know he's beyond there. Just common curtesy. I realize I go on a rant here but it still frustrates me that they didn't think it through. I was watching it as it aired and for me it felt like the exact thing they would do trying to be cute. I was fairly certain after this episode, then episode 9 was a confirmation. Telling Cisco "Reverb told you that you could have been a God, instead you'd rather work as, tech support." Either he was omniscient like Dr. Manhattem, which seemed unlikely because its really hard to write such a character and have them lose. Or he was what he said he was which was future flash. That being said I did get 1 thing wrong. When Barry arrives in this post Flashpoint timeline, they have lived with a different Barry. I thought they would reveal that perhaps their version of Barry for some reason had travelled in time. Like trying to find out how to not vanish in Crisis. Setting up him having gone to the future and have the first meeting with Thawne in the 22nd century. I wasn't locked down to anything in particular just something that would explain why that version wasn't present when time remnant Thawne took him to his porch in the first episode. Then when that version of Barry tried to travel back, because our Barry was now living out his life. The speedforce prevented him from being able to exit it. And I thought that he'd be connected to our Barry, getting his memories to explain how he'd get all the knowledge. And by being in the speedforce for decades he'd turn crazy and resentful for our Barry stealing his life. Not to mention how the team didn't think about the fact that this Barry was different than him and didn't bother trying to get him out. That is something I could buy. What I have a hard time buying. Is future version of Barry creates loads of time remnants during the original final fight against Savitar before Iris dies. Savitar lets TR live so that it can become Savitar. Which in an of itself could make sense if they found a real reason for the TR to go crazy. There is just no way in a million years that Iris dies, Barry and 1 TR is left standing. Barry throws out the entire team and decides to focus on imprisoning Savitar then retires from being the Flash letting criminal meta humans do what they please. So far, a bit out of character but Barry losing one too many people and being too broken to want to have anyone in his life that he could lose. Its a believable reaction to loss. Why on earth would the rest of the team shun him? When Barry decides to retire, TR could have taken his place and given the rest of the group a purpose. There is no logical reason for why Joe, Wally and Cisco wouldn't want to have anything to do with the TR going so far as to not want him in their lives.

3:36 I don't think Julian would be talking like that if he knew what Barry could do. With Barry's abilities as a speedster and a CSI he could very easily kill him and get away with it,that would be the simplest option too. Luckily Barry is a good guy.

Joe has two extremely dumb moments in this show. His dumbest moment is yet to come and it's so extreme I would call it character assassination. From which he doesn't ever fully recover. But this episode he's blaming a situation in which he was the one who had to convince Barry to let them use Wally as bait not the other way around. Meanwhile he acts as if this wasn't his plan that he made up on the spot that went sideways with everyone saying they had no idea what they were walking into.

Savitar is actually the Hindu Sun God : Savitur/Savitr There is Suriya : the Solar Sun God But Savitar is Lord of all the Stars around a Blackhole So of Super Sun God (hindu) or God of Speed (cw flash version) .. still really powerful. Chinta mani is also a hindu reference

S3 was the last 'goated' season of The Flash. S4 was meh... S5 has an good overarching story, with the upfront villain being a little meh but still a decent season. S6 had the first half pretty amazing ngl, but after crisis on infinite earths... yeah the show is wraps from there on out, no point in watching. (No, not even S8 as some people claim it). The final season has 2 good episodes that are definitely worth the watch, and that's it.

No, Cisco was mad at Barry for not going back in time to save his brother. He didn’t know his brother was actually alive in the other timeline.
