I grew up during the time that the Jackson 5 was all the rage, one of my all time favorite groups. Looking back now my heart breaks for this little boy. I agree. When I see him young, I just cry and think, if he only knew what was going to happen later, he could have maybe steered away from those scammer accusers. He was AMAZING as a kid and EVERYONE saw it. EVERYONE was amazed. All the big stars saw him as different in an amazing way. He was SO admired.. He was so celebrated. Even his brothers knew he was THE BEST. I hope to God that he had joy in the last years of his life. I think he did, because he is one of the strongest and most positive people on the planet, and was always encouraging others. I think the Jackson family great, too. Still today. Watch videos of his brothers and nephews, and Janet, and his mom. There's interviews of them talking about MJ. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I'm glad I'm finding a bunch of people on You Tube still loving the Jacksons.

It always amazed me how Michael could sing with so much passion at such a young age. We old folks had so many great ones to enjoy back in the day. Kenny Rogers' career spanned 1956-2017. He passed away in 2020. I'd love to see you and your wife react together to his studio version of "Through The Years".

I've seen the J5 in concert twice during the 70s. I can tell you Michael was always a dynamic performer. Before they came along, there were very few if any black teen idols. They were featured in teen celebrity magazines such as Tiger Beat, 16 Magazine, and of course, the first magazine targeted to black tweens and teens, RIGHT ON! magazine.

I have always had a special place for Michael Jackson because he was exactly 2 weeks older than me. To see what someone my age could accomplish was inspiring to me. Even though his father was abusive to those boys, I will give him credit for taking their talent to the top. He pushed them to be perfectionists in their movements and singing. If they messed up while performing or just practicing, he would beat them and have them do it over and over until they got it right. When they weren't in school they were practicing. No time to be a kid. Sad lives but tremendous talent.

how could someone put so much feeling into a song at that age. he has no idea what love is but you can't tell by the way he sings it and the the way he expresses it. Michael Jackson is my age. and I used to wait for this song to come out during the school dance in Junior high. so I can slow dance with my baby. My first slow dance ever. that's one reason why I remember this song so well.

Yep, I still remember watching the Ed Sullivan Show on Sunday night, the very 1st time the J-5 appeared on TV. We had a black and white television(no color) at that time.🤣 My siblings and I could not believe our eyes or ears!!!! We were mesmerized...imagine seeing kids that looked like us (black) on tv for the very first time!! Not only that, musically they were absolute perfection!! The next day at school, EVERYONE was asking each other, DID YOU SEE WATCH THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW LAST NIGHT...DID YOU SEE THE JACKSON 5???? The hysteria was off the charts. I remember thinking about them ALL DAY in school and I wasn't the only one...they were all everyone talked about that day. YOU just had to be there...there are NO WORDS to describe the EXCITEMENT and PRIDE we as 8, 9, and 10 year olds felt when the J-5 first came on the scene. NO WORDS!My room wall was plastered with every photo and poster I could get my hands on them! ANYONE who wasn't around during that time, TRULY missed out! I'm thankful though, that people can relive the experience to some degree through these posted videos. FUNNY, I used to dream about marrying Jermaine.🤣🤣🤣 Every girl had their favorite! Those were absolute BEST days! PEACE, LOVE, and SOOOOOUL!!
